Help answer this question below.
It's a bit of a mystery to me. Here she states that she is a hermaphrodite, which means she has both masculine and feminine genitals. This comes from her own blog:
"Its not something that I’m ashamed of, just isn’t something that i go around telling everyone. Yes. I have both male and female genitalia, but i consider myself a female. Its just a little bit of a penis and really doesn’t interfere much with my life. the reason I haven’t talked about it is that its not a big deal to me. like come on. its not like we all go around talking about our vags. I think this is a great opportunity to make other multiple gendered people feel more comfortable with their bodies. I’m sexy, I’m hot. i have both a poon and a peener. big ****ing deal."

And see also here:

But then she also states that she isnt:
"More! Magazine reports that Lady Gaga insists to be believed she is not a Man, rather a real lady. I am not a transsexual or a hermaphrodite as ‘presumed’ by the media, she said."...

A man. Definitely a man.
shes a Lady - DUH ; the whole thing was a publicity stunt . . .
He was born a man then bout age 15 started going through process to become a woman.
Woman - if she were a dude, she'd never be able to pull off the raw meat look, or any other look for that matter. It's a girl thing, wearing food.
Trust me, I'm Bi and know both men's and women's bodies...She is total 100% woman! The curves, way she moves and carries herself and the way her clothes hang on her and don't hang on her, a man could never pull off...even in drag or after surgery.
It seems to be a sexless unit.
I think its a she/he thing

Kattra, even if she is a hermaphrodite (and I have doubts about that), it's appropriate to use the female gender pronoun since she clearly stated that she considers herself to be female. Referring to her as he/she is actually very rude. I'm not trying to call you out or give you crap, I'm just explaining because I suspect you genuinely don't understand. :)

It's ok, Wombat.. You're right, I know she refers to herself as "she" and Im not really worried about it, either way. It was just a question. Thanks for mentioning it, I didnt mean to be rude.
