• Mr. Black, I appreciate your opinion and am not offended by your insult to myself or to God. However, I am not theatened by others who believe differently from me. On the contrary, I applaud it because in listening to varying views I never fail to learn new things as well as to bolster others. The name calling you have lowered yourself to is actually quite indicative of one who has placed himself in a box of his own making and is convinced that he has control of the absolute truth to the exclusion of all others.
  
  This type of thinking, as history has shown us, is the most dangerous of all. Hitler, Pol Pot, and Kim Jung Il are but a few examples of the same type of reasoning. This type of thinking was also the primary cause of the Dark Ages when all who would oppose the church were killed and tortured.
  
  You assert that if Creationists "stop denying [our] connection to this natural world[,] we might stand a chance." Perhaps I don't understand the statement, but it seems to say that we are all doomed unless we convert to your way. Doesn't that sound just like the Nazis and the Communists and the ideologies of all dictators?
  
  The tenor of your comment contains a great deal of anger and frustration and hopelessness. It is my hope that you come to have peace about your beliefs and whatever choices you make.
