    Henry Ford, 1863-1947, a Michigan inventor and engineer, organized the Henry Ford Company in 1901. In 1903 the Ford Motor Company was officially incorporated and the first Model A automobile was made in Ford's Detroit factory. Ford's famous Model T was manufactured beginning in 1908.
