No, I don't think that is neccesary. If you don't want religions discussions, don't enter them. However, if others are pushing religion in non-religious questions, that is their problem and they are likely to do that on a non-religious site anyway.
Why split it just by religion? Why not by sexuality? Age? Sounds an awful lot like segregation to me. The system is fine the way it is; I don't care for the religion topics, but nobody is forcing me to read them. I stick to the categories that interest me.
well this site is for religion every other site is not so you have more choice than you think
The problem Lass, is that the Religious Nutters, see God as being necessary to stuff into EVERY topic.
Even if there was a second site, they'd come a flocking over and try to cram their religion down ya throat.
The problem with that is how do you define religion? Many people consider enviromentalism to be a religion, for instance. Also, religion affects every aspect of a religious person's life. What you're looking for, I think, is a site for Atheists only. There are plenty of those.
Why not just ignore the religion if it bothers you?
It bugs me when religion is brought into subjects for the sake of it, they are not linked it is just someone else forcing their beliefs upon me.
The site already exists, it's called www.raptureready.com.
