(this was written the day after we became official)
The only reason I am concerned is bc he did cheat on a gf a few yrs back(he told me)...& now my friend says he is actually a player.
Do you think his statement was just playful/joking? I also feel like adding him now that I KNOW he has a page. How should I even confront this? I don't want to seem needy/lacking of confidence....but I don't deserve to be played!

I think you deserve an explanation for both the lie, and his comment to the girl. Simply say you were using Facebook and came across his profile, saw the comment, and ask him what it means? With that said, I would tend to trust your friend's analysis of the situation. Sorry...

If he has a history of being a player and your gut is telling you something is wrong, which by you posting this question it is, leave him now. Maybe he was just playing, but he still lied to you ... can you live with him playing like that? You can't make him change, so unless you like this behavior and want to stay with it, you have your answer.

My guess is that the reason he did not tell you about his Facebook page is that he wants to clean it up before showing it to you. To awoid exactly this sort of sillyness.
