j'adore :) pro-animal rights is something I feel very strongly about and am trying to become more involved in. I've had dogs since the day I was born & couldn't imagine my house without them

I am a cat owner but I can relate and I share that kind of love for my cats. I even have human alter egos for them i.e. my Toby is like Cary Grant, my Bonnie is like Madonna and Amelia is like Barbara Streisand on a very bad day.

I would love to have a cat again but unfortunately I can't trust my dogs with them. They love wrestling each other and they'd probably want to play with the cat ...!! :)

I had a cat. It would beat-up my Chihuahua (the breed from HELL)! Then it tore my furniture apart! My cat had the most BEAUTIFUL blue eyes I have ever seen on an animal. My boss eventually adopted her. And THAT ended my relationship with cats! A sweet cat but TOO independent!

Cats inspire me for just that reason, Millenium -- their independence. [ And I admit it, Marky Mark -- these dog pictures freak me out; especially that second one. :) If those are dogs, I'm glad I'm living with my two feline housemates. :)]
