    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

Problems with destroyed records make it difficult to know how many people with disabilities were killed by the Nazis. According to the Northwest Center for Holocaust, Genocide and Ethnocide Education, 80,000 adults and 5,000 children are thought to have died as the result of the Nazi plan to kill people with disabilities (known as Aktion T4).

The Nazis even killed disabled vets from WW I. They weren't useful any longer. They took up valuable resources. This happened notwithstanding the sacrifice the vets made just a couple decades before!
