I wouldn't choose those words, but theoretically, yes.
Gos doesn't exist. Religion is a belief system based on a delusion. Therefor it's possible to end it.
However, I don't think it's possible in reality. Religion allows people to believe in an Uber-Parent and an afterlife where they'll see dead loved ones. The delusion is just too pleasant for many to give up.
Like it's theoretically possible to end addiction to all drugs, it ain't gonna happen because too many want the crutch.
Well said.
by Legend of my mind on February 11th, 2010
Indeed.
by stonedsober on February 12th, 2010
Why would I want to do that?
by 23Skidoo on February 12th, 2010
No
You think all this happened from Big Bang? Human mind is changing day by day, i would try to save people from Atheism everyday LOL.
by King Arthur Pendragon on March 24th, 2010
OK - Save me. Now... what god out of the 100's in use today will we go with? And on what basis should we go with your choice?
by 23Skidoo on March 24th, 2010
how about your OWN conception. whatever it may be. let it develop. willingness is the key.
by stonedsober on March 24th, 2010
I never say follow what i believe, you choose the gods or goddesses for yourself.

Stone...
Willingness to do what? To believe in something I would like to be true? in something a lot of others believe is true? something I conceive of... or just make up?
If people choose the gods, then either there is a vast array of them just waiting to be picked, like the wallflowers at a ballroom dance class for pre-teens, or people are making them up - in which case there is nothing outside our imaginations to believe in.
by 23Skidoo on March 25th, 2010
Oh really? Ever heard of the word, Our imagination is nothing like the Gods. Really, no one makes it up.
by King Arthur Pendragon on March 26th, 2010
Shits I've done? Haha, you're such a loser. :D
I don't think i use my imagination here, for its easy for shitbags like you to defeat. Prove that Magic isn't Real! We say Magic is real, you deny it isn't at the end, so you have to prove that it isn't real.
by King Arthur Pendragon on March 26th, 2010
No. Magic doesn't work through technology, if you knew what real magic was about. You wouldn't say shit. You are lame enough to find out things instead of sitting on you're computer all day long with an useless atheism stuff and just fart out words.

one can only kill the religion in themselves . ...... education will usually do the trick. ;-)
Good answer! I hate man made religion laws that practice rites and ceremonies, but anyways, speaking of education, me and Larendeil are trying to educate these 3 ABers over here in these comments that magic and witchcraft is real and not fake, but maybe you can help them understand better. I asked them to get an opinion from you, but they just seem to yield so I just taught I ask.
by Carl_07 on April 4th, 2010
...hi , again .. ;-) i wasent avoiding you .. i was in the penelty box for awhile , i'm reading over that thread now ;-) thanx for the invite ,, and the "honorable " mention lol .
ill toss in my 2 cents if i see the need ;-) .
by The Anonymous Witch on April 5th, 2010
I can tell why many ABers are always avoiding you.
Now you know you have to be a good witch. ;-) I also been on the penalty box not once, but 3 times for harassment, and not by offending anyone or by using so much profanity words here in this site like that AB member by the name of Underdog_Sexty_Niners. I'm just supporting Larendeil and his magic even though, I don't know why lol, and I just can't believe that I have been blocked from those comments, after everything that Underdog said to Larendeil. I tried my best to explain to those clowns that life is a mystery to be lived, not a problem to be solved, but some people are just too close minded to understand. I'm out!
by Carl_07 on April 5th, 2010
Sure. I talked with Anonymous itch, shes kind. But i haven't told my magical experience with them(Moongrim) yet. Would they believe me? no. Why? Because they have no belief.

...killing Faith in HIM's been tried and almost succeeded at times, but HE will never let it happen.....there will always be a remnant...til HE COMES....
Til He comes. That may be what I'm looking for. I have faith. thanks for your answer.
by stonedsober on February 12th, 2010
so, why would he wait with coming?
by DanMau on February 14th, 2010
Perhaps timing is everything. Maybe he is already here. maybe he comes to any individual who asks him. maybe his return is a collective organism of Christ conscious people. Maybe the apocolyptic value is no joke. I see HAARP and earthquakes and chemtrails. the agendas behind these operations seem evil as all hell. The only think that can stop all this now is a drastic change of heart. Spirit. THEY WANT US DEAD>Have you looked in the sky lately? Do you think the weather is normal and not manipulated? most people are unaware. What does this have to do with his coming? I think they are related issues. But I'm crazy. so my opinion does not count. I'm just paranoid. Why would he wait? To achieve TOTAL subjection. We must take it to the place where there is no other way out. To NEVER forget that we are NOTHING without his Father.
by stonedsober on February 14th, 2010
so, if you are "crazy", why would I trust ANYTHING of what you said there. Just because other people tell you it's right, doesn't make it more right. If other people SHOW you it's right, things will become more trustworthy. so show me his coming and I'll be more willing to believe you.
by DanMau on February 15th, 2010
cant show. nobody tells me. it should be self evident. through shared experiences. I have my "views" subject to change. im looking outside the box.
by stonedsober on February 15th, 2010
I agree with you. I learn from example and hard knocks. mostly hard knocks. I have been aquiring my info all my life. This is my personal opinion. Based on the input I have sought and watched before my eyes in day to day life. My roommate showed me a jet laying a chemtrail.
since then I have put things together to find out that it all has to do with elecromagnetism, ionosphere. Man I am learning everyday. New stuff lights up. I can't help but form an opinion. I just stay away from fear and doubt. It must be all for a reason. I have found that life is in the middle ground. Take all theologies. Cut em down the middle without buying them and see what holds relevance to truth as I see it. We can only be accountable for ourselves. All science has got to be related. There is much to learn from such seemingly doomful projects that other paradigms can use. Brain waves are studied by similar tech.

God is a mystery that works in mysterious ways so in other words, faith works like magic when we're expecting something for a good cause. And by the way Moongrim, sooner or later, you will bend knee to God, I still have faith in you. ;-)

by King Arthur Pendragon on March 24th, 2010
so you're saying that this so called "real" magic is from ignorance?
by Moongrim on March 24th, 2010
No, your ignorance stops Real Magic within you.

You're a load of talk there Laren.
by Moongrim on March 25th, 2010
No. You little child, stupid nations learn about science and how to make guns. They don't check a thing about Magic, you don't know anything, they can't do it it is because they don't believe it, Magic is not a piece of shit. Your comment is.
by King Arthur Pendragon on March 26th, 2010
Moongrim, i can't see you denying anything.
by King Arthur Pendragon on March 26th, 2010
You're a piece of lifeless shit that takes drugs. We're in 21st Century you idiot, HAHA. the %$%^$$ Technology or Science cannot deny that Magic isn't real. No one can argue with me because i am too clever and they end up a dork like you. It is not only me that believes in Magic we made a real guild, we ended up with 20 000 people that wants the world natural and secret. World has no choice anymore, we will find more members and overthrow whatever we hate! We will see who will be a cry child.
by King Arthur Pendragon on March 26th, 2010
Well you're half right Laren, no one can argue with you because you're a fanatic.
And fanatics are never wrong, even when they are.
That's a lot of talk Laren, why don't you actually do something other than words?
Or would your "laws of magic' prevent you from presenting some REAL proof?
by Moongrim on March 27th, 2010
I'm a fanatic? lol. I guess i wasn't talking to you, Moongrim. So the words don't go for you, you do not insult, you produce proper debate. How can you expect me to do Magic through technology, Magic only works in nature, thats why i am so close and protect Nature.
by King Arthur Pendragon on March 27th, 2010
You're a fanatic, because all you've got is talk.
So you talk about the wonders of your magic, but technology is superior enough to be an easy shield against it.

by Carl_07 on March 28th, 2010
Magic is real, it all started back in the Pharaoh days in Egypt. Look up the history facts of Ramses II. Whoever doesn't believe in magic is just too blind to see any of it. The way Magic works is through Faith. You have to be really determined to do magic, just the same way that a person assembles something together, but what happens if the person is not in the mood to work on a project? Then he / she is not going to accomplish anything because one has to be motivated in the first place - same as magic. When Moses was casting out spells in the land of Egypt, Pharaoh had his magicians perform the same things although some worked and some didn't, since Moses had the higher power of the Almighty right in his rod, and it was something similar like the Harry Potter magic, were the Pharaoh's magicians can create mostly anything, but for them to really create some magic, it took a tremendous amount of energy.
by Carl_07 on March 28th, 2010
Also, take for example witchcraft.
We all know that some witches are real and some are frauds like the wannabe witch that is in these answers of this topic, lol. But the real witches are capable of creating magic while casting out their magical spells. In order to do magic - all you need is the will power, and if you 2 guys, well, I mean 1 and a 1/2 lol, should study up on magic before you start actually practicing, since real magic is not a stage show, but it does take a lot of work and dedication in order to become a real magician.
by Carl_07 on March 28th, 2010
Moongrim, Just take a real belief with Magic and stay away from your "scientific" and Technology crap. hen you'll learn anything you never learned about Magic but just mumbling about it.
Underdog
I'm not even mad at you for that, Did you ever study about Magic to give a comment about it? hell no. So why you being such a moron? i'm going to tell that to your parents...lol
Tinjon
Thank you for your support. I can do Magic, suddenly a proper answer. :)
by King Arthur Pendragon on March 28th, 2010
Moongrim, how can i psychically do anything other than TYPING not talking on the computer? I can't do anything can i?
by King Arthur Pendragon on March 28th, 2010
I see Larendeil is taking the 2 of you to school.
And he's not even managing to get past the front doors.
I can't do anything can i?
Finally you admit to the reality. All your talk concerning Magic is just that- talk.
And tinjon? Sheesh, get Real.
You loonies are the ones who talk of Magic, and that's all you do- talk.
In every fairy tale there is talk of magic. And they all have the same thing- it's only in the stories does magic work.
You fools up to a challenge then?
by Moongrim on March 29th, 2010
See Underdog
You ruin a joke like how you ruin any conversation. I'd like to see your parents "kick my arse". Nobody knows how to stop all the evil with Magic, No, because they think its fake. Believers are trying to find a book of massive magic.
Moongrim
I am taking both of you to school. I didn't say Magic isn't real, What can i do from the computer? As i said Magic works only in Nature for God created Nature so he created Magic. All i do is talk because i can't do anything from a COMPUTER. Its a computer. What else do you do other than mumble nonsense. People made fairy tales to entertain children, Magic was real since older than the world, You cannot prove that Magic isn't real. People made Science, People made proof. Magic cannot be proved by humans, only used by humans.
"Take a deep thought about the world, and you will see the darkest secrets".
by King Arthur Pendragon on March 29th, 2010
@Underdog_Sexty_Niners, I don't follow religion.
I follow Faith which is from the New Testament, and like Ephesians 2:8-9 says; not by works so that no one may boast. Meaning, I'm not under any man made laws or rituals as found in other religions from around the world. If I was to follow religion, then I would of been living by the laws of the Old Testament which had a lot of strict laws and burnt sacrifices that we had to do just to be saved. Neither of you can prove that Christians follow religion. Christianity is just considered a religion as the same way atheism is considered a religion aswell for having a belief not to believe in God. So in other words, both beliefs are almost similar, but it's just the opposite between the two.
by Carl_07 on March 29th, 2010
Both of you might ask; what do you mean? Simple!
I believe that God works in mysterious ways as I said in my other comments - as faith works like magic. You don't have to be a Christian to have faith. Many people that are not Christians believe in miracles, including atheists. When we're expecting something for a good cause we depend on miracles as keeping hope alive, but where does the hope come from? It comes from a mysterious being that we cannot possibly see, but when we notice that whatever it was that we were hoping for just happens to come true, many people say; a miracle just happened. And a miracle does not have to do anything with science - that's were the word Magic comes in to play. ;-) Can both of you understand that? No! The problem is, people that don't believe in magic are too blind to see any of it like said.
by Carl_07 on March 29th, 2010
Also, you ask a good question here Underdog.
- "If Magic really exists then why can't they stop all these killings and torture or if it Magic reall exists then why does these fu@%!#g Magicians do their job of just snapping their fingers so the world can be a better place?"
You ain't seen anything yet, it's only going to get worser, but I'll be glad to explain this for you. The powers of Magic come from 2 mysterious beings. There's good magic and there's bad magic. The good magic is for a good cause as I made it clear on my 19th comment. I also made it clear that there are real witches and there are frauds. The bad magic comes from witchcraft, or basically anyone practicing evil. The reason that magic does not have any effect on nations from around the world is because every nation has a destiny either to be a better place or a worser place. If magic was to take effect on nations, then that would violate all of our freewill as it is written as Gen 2:17 says...
Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die.
by Carl_07 on March 29th, 2010
This is the freewill we have either to do good or bad.
Magic takes effect on those individuals that are spiritually discerned. We all have a destiny to succeed or to fail. Magic plays a big role in our lives. Sometimes when we notice the un-expected, we start to think, were did that come from; or how did that get there..."that's were the mysterious ways of faith and magic have taken place.
by Carl_07 on March 29th, 2010
This is what makes the both of you so blind.
- "You fools up to a challenge then?"
First, you both believe in science; so do we. It's logical that we all use something scientific everyday, no doubt about that, but we don't let science get to our heads. There's other things to do in life like worshiping a God, practicing Magic or maybe doing some Yoga while we meditate our minds, although I might not be as flexible as Underdog, lol. Second, you blind bats believe in the Big Bang theory, and that we evolved from an ape, and that there's other planets when there's no logical proof of any of this. Now, if we go back to my other comment were I said; "God is a mystery that works in mysterious ways so in other words, faith works like magic." Meaning, we have faith in God and in Magic, just the same way the 2 of you have faith in the Big Bang when there was nothing from nothing in the beginning. You have faith that humans evolved from an ape when apes are not breeding humans, and you have faith that other planets exist even though neither of you haven't seen any of this with your own eyes so basically, it's un-scientific so therefore, you both have faith. ;-)
by Carl_07 on March 29th, 2010
@Underdog_Sexty_Niners, here's 2 Bible verses for you.
All those profanity words your using...
Matthew 15:11 "It is not what goes into the mouth that makes a person unclean. It is what comes out of the mouth that makes a person unclean."
Proverbs 1:4 To give prudence to the naive, to the youth knowledge and discretion.
;-)
by Carl_07 on March 29th, 2010
Look what I found...
http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/1384854
There's some good answers that make sense on that question, even though I don't want to play the Devil's advocate to the Wiccans and Pagans if I was to like their answers lol, while they'll be thinking; why does this Christian like our answers.
And I see Moongrim is right on his answer, and Larendeil is making it clear with another AB member on the comments, and Underdog is too busy searching for a dog while I'm invoking magical spells as I made it clear when I said..."take for example witchcraft." I also made it clear when I said...Sometimes when we notice the un-expected, we start to think, were did that come from; or how did that get there...."that's were the mysterious ways of faith and magic have taken place."
by Carl_07 on March 29th, 2010
Tinjon and larendil.
You both are nothing but talkers.
I can blind myself to magical ability of God? Ergo- I'm more powerful than your imaginary God.
You both keep talking about Magic and God, but neither of you is willing to back up your commentary with something concrete.
All you do is talk.
by Moongrim on March 30th, 2010
You talk too. You say "scientific" stuff and we correct you with PROPER education!
by King Arthur Pendragon on March 30th, 2010
We will see in the afterlife (don't say it isn't real). If believers are stupid, then the whole world is stupid. Don't you dare insult God next to me!
by King Arthur Pendragon on March 30th, 2010
@Moongrim, the concrete is right there on the second link I left.
You are either a blind bat like Underdog that's living in a hell hole lol, or you just do a good job at overlooking the facts of the mysterious ways of magic and witchcraft. They both share the same magical effects, since magic and witchcraft has been proven through many people. Not just because you haven't experienced a miracle or a spell does not mean magic isn't real. I made it clear that we all know that real witches exist, including frauds. Witchcraft is definetly real, but it's no game, it's not something you learn overnight. That's were you fail to understand. Magic spells require skills to perform, and you only gain those skills through intense study and dedication, not just by sitting there and saying..."You loonies are the ones who talk of Magic, and that's all you do- talk." That's were the problem is, you choose not to believe because magic is not in your interest. Larendeil seems like a good magician, but all of a sudden, your taking that gift away from him by saying he's nothing but talk when you are not interested in learning anything about magic.
by Carl_07 on March 30th, 2010
Until you make the time to learn about magic, you will understand.
Larendeil doesn't need to prove through the net his magic skills, but to see that magic is truly real, one must take the time to properly study. I myself don't know how to do magic, but I take magic as it comes as it increases my faith whether it's a ~magical~ coincidence that many things go my way while many times I start to think like I said that many people have experienced my experience in saying..."were did that come from; or how did that get there"? Answer: Unsolved mystery! Understand this, you can't rush magic and expect magical things to be handed down to you in a silver platter, although we all know that atheists like both of you are no good lousy bums that sit around all day and expect God and Magic to come down from the sky. It doesn't work that way! Whenever you seek the Gospel with an open heart, and you leave all your bad experiences in the past, you will find God. And when you study up on magic and witchcraft, you will know that it's real.
by Carl_07 on March 30th, 2010
Also, Vampires and Warewolves exist lol, just joking. ;-)
There is no person outhere who will say that the Wicca religion does not exist because we all know that it's practitioners carry out highly complex rituals designed to utilize supposed natural and supernatural energies. And just like I explained that there's good magic and bad magic; be careful what you get into...bad magic is dangerous, you might open the gate of the spiritual world, but other than that, if you're open minded enough to try out the mysterious ways of magic, you'll be able to prove it to yourself. And by the way Larendeil, you see that witch on the answers of this topic? Go tell her to join these comments so that she can explain those voodoo hoodoo spells to Moongrim and Underdog - that way they can understand a lot better from a witch; on how the mysterious ways of magic work. I'll go post a comment to her myself, but we don't get along with each other, lol
by Carl_07 on March 30th, 2010
Your God sucks eggs.
Your God doesn't exist.
You claim that magic and your God exists, you want me to believe- prove it.
All I hear from you two, is talk. And that's all you ranters do is talk. I'm supposed to be swayed by talk?
No.
Cough it up.
by Moongrim on March 31st, 2010
You always insult don't you? "God sucks this and that". As i said the proof will be unsuccessful. You go and find it for yourself. You talk too. But we aren't swearing to the person who taught you Atheism, or you learned it yourself.
Tinjon
You are very clever. I usually do Elemental Magic, its so.....godly. You see i hardly go on computer, i don't even have a computer, this is my brothers. I go around find magical stuff and enter spiritual worlds and do more Magic.
by King Arthur Pendragon on March 31st, 2010
@Moongrim, many people have said before that God and Magic does not exist...
(When a person does not have any interest in learning about God and Magic). First, to understand God, one must have, first of all, an open mind, that is what you don't have! Then you must read and understand the New Testament, and last but not least, use your common sense. God is to each individual what he / she perceives God to be. So instead, make your perception a good one, not by judging a book by it's cover or saying that magic is not real. Second, remember that God is there for you, and like I said; you have to leave all your bad experiences in the past, then you will find God. And also, understand this, God is not spiteful and does not seek vengeance. God does not punish us for our screw-ups because we are responsible for not thinking twice while we all make a lot of mistakes, but most important, God forgives. So if you can follow the 4 ideas that follow to develop your perception of God - you will be well on your way to a happy relationship with God. You already know the way, all you have to do is put a part of yourself, since no one is going to drag you there, you make that decision on your own.
by Carl_07 on March 31st, 2010
And like always, you fail to look at the facts.
This is Larendeil's fight, I'm just here in these comments showing my support for magic and witchcraft because I do believe him. And I also believe that he is managing in getting past the school doors, since he is doing a good job at educating both of you no good dropouts, lol. You are not giving us an open mind while the facts are there as many people have experienced the un-expected in their lives - you can't argue with that, since magic works in so many ways. And just like I said that you make your decision on your own; you choose not to believe in magic and in witchcraft. ;-) I would like for a witch to help you understand the meaning of casting spells so that you can understand a lot better even though I am making it clear on how miracles and spells play a big role in many people. And as long as you continue to be a close minded person, you will never understand the mysterious ways of magic. You have to find out for yourself that magic and witchcraft is real, and whenever you study up on them, you will understand that "magicians" and "witches" are not fake as you think they are.
by Carl_07 on March 31st, 2010
The difference between a used car salesman and you two, is that a used car salesman will allow me a test drive before I'm allowed to purchase.
You folks won't even let me on the lot. All you two do is provide words- Where is your proof?
PROVE IT!
by Moongrim on April 1st, 2010
@Moongrim, magic and witchcraft does not work through the net.
Your not being fair, you just choose not to believe. You have to meet a real magician or a real witch in person so that you can find out for yourself that magicians and witches are real. Magic needs to be done in person - that way you can see the magic for yourself. Same as witchcraft; witches can't cast spells through the net either =) unless witches have one of your personal belongings so that the magical effects can take place, but that's were you have to be very careful in what your getting into because that's not a game. And just like I said that you have to meet a real magician or a real witch in person; you have to try them out as you test drive a car so that you can see the magic. I'm not a magician, I don't know how to do magic as I explained, I just take magic as it comes. I understand the salesmen part, we all have to test things out in order for anyone that has a brain to think twice before purchasing something that we like. But were you fail to understand is that Larendeil can't make magic through the net - as the same way your not foolish enough to purchase a car over the net without test driving it. ;-)
by Carl_07 on April 1st, 2010
We cannot prove it to you Moongrim. You have to go find it out for yourself. You cannot always compare a cars salesman. A cars salesman is next to you, but we aren't. We provide words so you can learn of the things that you decline to learn. If we were next to you we actually still can't prove it. A Proof has scientific results, Magic is the opposite of Science so is God.
by King Arthur Pendragon on April 1st, 2010
@Larendeil, even if you were to to work up a magic trick, Moongrim and Underdog would not see it.
I'll explain why. These 2 are blinded, they're not suppose to believe in anything but science and themselves, well not really. The last atheist I talked to personally said that he needed to make a positive change in his life, since he didn't even actually believed in himself. He was missing something in life, something from beyond the ordinary. He even said that he doesn't logically believe in the Big Bang, but that he's got faith that everything just happened to be there perfectly like the mountains, volcanoes, landscapes, rivers, etc. So that's were his faith comes in without having any logical proof that everything just happened with a bang, and why everything just shaped together perfectly. And that's the reason why these 2 blind bats are never going to understand magic. Their religion, (it's not really a religion, but it's just considered as one) which brainwashes them not to believe in anything else. It doesn't matter how much you explain magic to them - they are the kind of people like when you say yes to them; they say no, and when you say no, they say yes so basically they're just the opposite - that's how they feed - that's what makes them feel better about themselves by denying the mysterious facts that many people have experienced in their lives. Moongrim is not being fair with you for him to take the time to study up on magic, and all he can say is prove it, when he can't prove that magic isn't real.
by Carl_07 on April 1st, 2010
Yes you can prove it. You're just too lazy to do so.
You want me to believe- cough up your proof.
If your god doesn't exist until I believe in him therefore I'm more powerful than your god.
Because I've got the 'beliefs' of over 6 billion people who all believe weird s**t.
by Moongrim on April 2nd, 2010
@Moongrim, I don't know how to do magic as I said.
I just take magic as it comes. I believe what Larendeil says. I don't think he's got no reason to make anything up. Sometimes when I notice the un-expected, that's when my faith increases as I get to understand that many strange things happen for a reason. And that reason is a mysterious being that we cannot see, but we feel His presence as He helps us overcome many obstacles when our faith is there. I don't need to prove magic to you because magic just happens when I'm not really thinking about it - that's when the magical effects take place, but in order for this to happen, you need to have faith, just the same way you have faith by believing in theory's lol, which by the way, theory's are not facts. ;-) But take that for example, you guys debate theory's with Christians like if they were facts lol, when you yourselves fail to try the light of the Gospel, since both of you blind guides strain at a gnat and end up swallowing a camel. Larendeil is not trying to shove his magic skills down your throat, he's just trying to make you understand the meaning of magic, and that's the reason I'm supporting him like I said because I believe that Larendeil is a great magician. But to really believe that magic is there, you need to have faith, and don't expect anything to come down to you from the sky; magic doesn't work that way, it only happens un-expected. You see, magic is real, I wasn't even thinking about it, lol

by Carl_07 on April 2nd, 2010
Thank you Tinjon :)
You see magic is a gift from God. God created Magic as a part of Nature. Magic won't work through piece of technology. Magic works through Nature and Faith. I know how to make someone do Magic but it needs 100% belief that you know its real. Everyone has Arcane Magic/Power you must stabilize it, you must have sleep. Arcane Power is within your faith, when you have faith your Arcane Power becomes an aura outside of you, allowing you to do the unexpected. Then next comes your trait of good or evil magic which is Light and Dark. Then comes Nature/Elemental Magic, Real Force of Nature.
Making Water Move (Perhaps Worse) lol
Extinguishing Fire or doing mystical stuff
Making Trees alive (It's true)
Strongest: Making Lightning (No lies but i did it)
But you see i practiced magic since like ever i was born.
wands are real, but different. crystal wands are used in ceremonies or normal wood wands in rituals.

And each and every example can be easily explained with something else.
Amazing how it ALWAYS works that way eh?
I say it's a plant growing, you claim it's the POWER OF YOUR Magic.

Yes, It can be easily be explained with something that has faith in it other than your previous nonsense about spiting or coughing up stuff lol.

You're the ones who expect me to believe B.S. without any credible evidence.
Cough up some credible evidence, so that I may believe your assertions.
All you've coughed up is talk.
by Moongrim on April 4th, 2010
yeah..words are better proven than said..that's the point..
as you see people here in AB ought to provide answers with proofs not just say this and say that..
if you believe in God and the other one with magic and love both..you need to know it and provide facts to make its art be posted here..i know what god says, make them (easy believers) believe..and magic says fools get to be fooled..blind faith..both laren and tinjon walks on blind faith..
by Sorrow on April 4th, 2010
@Moongrim - @Juno - @Underdog_Sexty_Niners,
No one is trying to make you believe in anything. Larendeil is just explaining how magic works. and it's not like he's forcing you to believe in magic. The problem is, your choosing not to accept, since neither of you want to take the time to study about magic, and as long as you don't take the time, then you are just closing the doors to the mysterious ways of magic although, the 3 of you are filled with spirits that do not let you come to the light without you even knowing about it, but to each to their own. Larendeil made it clear that magic does not work through the net, and he also made a good point on crystal wands, and take that for another example how Wiccans, witches use crystal wands, scepters, ceremonial crowns and tiaras for healing and magic. And just like I explained that we all have experienced the un-expected in our lives, and the fact is; you can't argue about that! And not only that; you can't argue that many people haven't been healed with crystal wands! Not everything is scientific as the saying says..."life is a mystery to be lived, not a problem to be solved." That's were you all fail to understand because a mystery is considered unknown; you can't argue about that either, so look who's coughing up talk. ;P
by Carl_07 on April 4th, 2010
@Underdog_Sexty_Niners, I'm not dreaming, it's the truth. Why don't you go make a comment to the anon witch that's in the topic of this question, and tell her that magic and witchcraft spells are not real. Let's see how she replies to you, since she's also another loud mouth that blends in with you, lol
by Carl_07 on April 4th, 2010
Juno, Underdog, Moongrim
Tinjon lol, when you say those i can't say what i have to say, you say what i'm about to say always lol. Juno, you know what God says? what through holy books? Thats nice. But Holy Books aren't always 100% real.
Perfect Word
"life is a mystery to be lived, not a problem to be solved.
Thanks Tinjon :)

You two have trying to get me to believe what you believe in for approximately 82 comments on this thread alone.
Every person out there has their own beliefs. C'est la vie.
But when someone wants me to believe what they believe, they keep trying to convince me that I'm wrong in mine.
by Moongrim on April 5th, 2010
well ,, since i was mentioned a few times ,, i'll add my 2 cents for what it's worth . there are points i agree with , and dissagree with in all of your answers .
but to sum it all up .,;
wheather or not you believe in magick ,, is up to you .
but remember ...
wheather you think you, yourself, can do magick, or you can't .....
you are right. ;-)

We are not trying to make you believe, we are trying to give "proofs" to check for yourself but you are just saying to us to cough up stuff when we do. This is a debate, we only talk. so do you, how about you give us proofs now, prove that Magic and God isn't real.

You have yet to come up with a single concrete proof that can be checked.
All you two give me is flowery speech.
It's like a used car salesman trying to sell me something sight unseen.
by Moongrim on April 6th, 2010
it's funny cause this got to 88 comments already, so far the longest say this and say that i've seen here in AB..
this isn't the page for swaying..swaying made by unborn babies..most catholics do those right?... hmm well i think this one got too long because of something isn't about the question but with larendeil denying he's not trying to make anyone believe, maybe you should speak to yourself to know what you really are doing..
by Sorrow on April 6th, 2010
Well we aren't no Catholics. We are anything you think to be good, which you think not good so it makes a difference. We are not swaying. Fine Moongrim, go to Wikipedia. Wikipedia isn't always right but write Magic and real all of it then come speak, you cannot prove anything to us. Well, we are not car salesman whatever that is ( i live in a natural place) and we are not trying to sell anything unseen. It is unseen on the computer, but that makes that all of it wrong? No. You insist us to give proofs instead of you giving proofs. Fine, I'll give another talk. Science is made my humans all all scientific thinking. Nature was made my God and Magic is a part of Nature. But there are some stupid humans who destroy Nature and think Technology is going to hold them up, well then "PHAIL". lol

But there is no proof for God nor Magic.
You can call it true all you want, but like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, they do not exist.
And Juno, you're full of it.
by Moongrim on April 7th, 2010
well proof would have to come from trying it one's self .
that "holy shit" moment will make believers out of stone .
you actually have to be involved in it to see for yourself . but to help understand .. magic is basicly intent .. you want to affect something with your mind , your intent and goal . it has been proven that the mind can send and recieve messages etc ... there is no doubt in that .. even esp ... for instance , have you ever been dreaming that a book (or something ) is falling in your dream ,,, then at the exact same time that it hit's the floor , something in real life makes a sound (like a door slaming , or a thump etc ) .. that "makes" the sound for the book's impact in dream . usually you wake up at this point . that is a form of esp .. your mind antisapated the sound before it happened and warned you or used it in your dream. it's tapping into that energy , and learning how to harness it that will help you understand how magic works .positive thinking is a form of magic . instead of "i think i can, i think i can" it's "i KNOW ican , i KNOW i can ." also think of the remote viewing tests the government did in the 70's etc .. understanding these things and accepting them will at least get you over the first step and start thinking " there may be something to it ".
interest and research will help you move foward in it . till you decide to get involved or not . the best person to show the proof is you .. but understanding it first helps . and i hope this does in some way ;-)
by The Anonymous Witch on April 7th, 2010
As i said Magic does not have proofs. You have to find it for yourself.
by King Arthur Pendragon on April 7th, 2010
Then it's B.S.
I don't need to look for technology, it's self evident wherever I go.
But your 'magic' only exists if I look for it? Then it's irrelevant.
by Moongrim on April 8th, 2010
i myself, am not saying magic does not exist unless you look for it ,, i'm saying the proof exists if you look for it .
i'm sure you have seen it before (as in my decription) .. if deemed " irrelevant" then , it probably still is now .(to you ). but looking back at some of those events with a different eye , may make you say "hummmm"? if not ,, and you don't proceed ,, then you are right ...to you magic is irrelevant . even though the effect of it on you are not.
regognition is the key . exploration is the engine.
by The Anonymous Witch on April 8th, 2010
Technology is created by Man, Magic is created by God. Big difference there, very big difference. You insist that Magic is not real, so you suppose the 25% of the Earth or more are insane?
by King Arthur Pendragon on April 8th, 2010
sorry Larendeil . i must say god was created by man ,.
i will defend magic , but i can't agree with you there .
magic is supplied by nature if you feel the need to attach "a god" to it ,, that is a different story.
but magick existed before "religion". and if you are talking about the christian god . magick existed 1000's of years before he was invented .
by The Anonymous Witch on April 8th, 2010
moongrim..lying? exaggerating? i don't know about that..but if that's what you think then it's fine with me..
i can't make you understand something you don't want to understand..yes exploration is the engine, people before have discovered things because they explored and have desired to know more than what they know and accepted things even though it brings pain to them to accept those..
but still i don't believe in magick and religion..both are just things that exist in the minds of the people but not in reality..for those who believe in magic they think magic causes things that happen but the truth is coincidence comes while they expect..as well as religion is..

Here's an overview of the science on a blog post:

Here are some scientific sites with peer reviewed publications:

Moongrim, so you get affected by a show? Who cares about 2 faithless people talk, if 2 say so, that makes God and Magic fake? No, about 92% of the world believes in both, You are no match, sir!
You never saw my magic if you did, you would be ever forgetful of your before "life". I made 4 people believe in magic. You made how many people atheists? You never saw Magic, therefore you don't believe in it, so it makes it fake? No.
In the Harry Potter movies we watch children play Quidditch on a broomstick and little wizards and witches casting quick spells here and there with their magic wands. In the movie, “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,” we watch martial arts heroes literally flying among the trees to fight. These days we’re flooded with all kinds of movies that bring magic into our lives. With all this new found interest in magic, most people are asking, “Is magic real?” What do you think? Is magic real and can you really have magic in your life?
Yes. Magic is very real and has existed as a precise science for thousands of years. Whether you call it magic, magick or majick, it is real. Every single person can learn to do magic. We were ALL born with the talents and abilities that empower us to do magic. The only reason that magic seems so, well, magical is that this society no longer teaches the art and science of magic. In the distant past, magical study was just as important as math, science or the arts. Even the miracles that Jesus performed were based on the use of magic. In fact, magic was and still is the birthright of EVERY planetary citizen.
Can you learn to do the kind of magic portrayed in the movies? Yes – and no. The movies are great at giving you a taste of what you can do with magic, but they aren’t very accurate. In the Harry Potter movies, for instance, the characters use their wands for every magical operation. In reality, you can only use the wand to handle air energies. Your wand would actually explode or catch fire if you tried to use it to throw firebolts and fireballs like the characters do in the movie.
So what can you actually do with magic? Quite a lot. Here’s a short list to get you started:
Balance your energies for healing and manifestation
Change old beliefs
Defend yourself against physical and psychic attack
Heal yourself and others
Find hidden information and see possible futures
Psychically communicate with other beings
Create sacred space
Find lost people and objects
Manifest what you want and need in life
At the very basis of magic is the understanding of the four elements: Air, Fire, Water and Earth. Called elemental magic, these foundational elements are real. Air, Fire, Water and Earth are part of our natural everyday environment. What makes them magical is the understanding of how they operate not just on the physical level, but also at the levels of mind and Spirit.
For instance, while on the physical level Air is just the stuff we breathe, on the magical levels Air is the conduit of psychic communication, enlightenment, understanding, dreaming and more. If you want more of any of these things in your life, then you need more magical Air. How do you get more magical Air? Wear more Air colors, including white for communication and sky blue for enlightenment and understanding. To take this one step further, you could also take on more Air to make your body lighter. Take on enough Air and you’ll be able to levitate.
By just extending your understanding and use of the basic ingredients of nature, you are doing magic! Seen in this light, magic isn’t all smoke and mirrors, nor is it the result of Hollywood special effects. Magic is the result of truly understanding and working with the very elements that are all around you.
One final note: Many masters, including Wayne Dyer, have said, "You'll see it when you believe it." The same is true for magic. In other words, the suspension of disbelief and the willingness not to exercise
by King Arthur Pendragon on April 11th, 2010
Balance your energies for healing and manifestation
What energies? Oh wait let me guess- Positive and Negative energies, all of which also do not exist. Uh-huh.
Change old beliefs
In me or others? so now I can magically mess with people's heads? "these are not the droids you're looking for".
Defend yourself against physical and psychic attack
But not physical attacks? How convenient.
Heal yourself and others
Let me guess, if you catch H1N1 whilst using magic, it's your fault for not having enough 'faith'.
Find hidden information and see possible futures
Let me guess, information hidden from us mere mortals by powerful spirit beings, but not the subject matter of the email the wife is hiding from me? And if the future doesn't happen, remember- it was only a possibility.
Psychically communicate with other beings
From other spirit worlds that no one else can see? What do you think of that Harvey?
Create sacred space
Let me guess, only 'believers' can see and attune this 'sacred' space.
Find lost people and objects
Got Hoffa yet?
Manifest what you want and need in life
Yet you cannot manifest any positive proof.
In other words, I have to be as gullible as you are in order to even get an inkling of the might and majesty and magical mumbo jumbo.
Whereas, science doesn't require belief, because it just is.
Magic is Horseapples.

* You always guess....but never think. You care about existence. If this wasn't a website i would've say much more in face to face but on. There is something called getting ENERGY not Horse$%#@
In me or others? so now I can magically mess with people's heads? "these are not the droids you're looking for". Change old beliefs in YOUR HEAD. Thats if you have one...
But not physical attacks? How convenient.
* It just wrote Physical Attacks There!
Let me guess, if you catch H1N1 whilst using magic, it's your fault for not having enough 'faith'.
* Exactly, some sicknesses need different things!H1N1 won't happen when you're using Magic, Its you're own B.S
Let me guess, information hidden from us mere mortals by powerful spirit beings, but not the subject matter of the email the wife is hiding from me? And if the future doesn't happen, remember- it was only a possibility.
* You think the only magical creatures are only spirits? I felt a shot of pity for you.
Let me guess, only 'believers' can see and attune this 'sacred' space.
* YAY You got something correct, BUD
Got Hoffa yet?
Archaeologists find lost people and objects, Why can't we?? I have found so many Lost Objects. Once i found a Green Dagger, and HAHA i kept it.
Manifest what you want and need in life
Yet you cannot manifest any positive proof.
*And somehow you cannot manifest proof either!
I ain't no gullible, Atheist! But you are pitiful. You should go learn that science was ADVANCED these days! But Magic was ADVANCED in Elder Days and now forgotten by mortals. Plus i never told you to do stuff to get H1N1, like dig up the ground and get earth and put it under your bed, thats some kind of witchcraft. Its fake witchcraft. Atheism doesn't provide any proof, so don't act like a "scientific results guy" because evolution is a theory, plus for you guys "evolution" was millions years ago. Then why doesn't apes evolve NOW? Fire: Helpful
Air: Oxygen, Duh! Without it you wouldn't learn of atheism!!
Water: What we depend our lives on, we clean ourselves with it, its normally our daily things.

Larendeil -- i admire your attempt here .. it seems you know a little about majgick .. and are in the process of learning more .. a few facts i don't agree with you , but that is beside the point . i do have to point out that when relatinng to witchcraft as "bad" you are wrong .
witchcraft started the elemental magic that you are talking about and that most wican / neopagan movements are based in .
and all the good that goes with it .. say "black magic" if you feel the need ,, but leave witchcraft out of it . you are using a false definition of a good thing .
just thought i'd clear that up ..
carry on . ;-)
by The Anonymous Witch on April 13th, 2010
In fact i know more than i say here. Witchcraft does have Satan because it has Black Magic, i did not say Witchcraft is only Black Magic. I probably know the most of Magic here because i learned ever since i was born. I say that because of Witchcraft i almost got a demon on my tail, don't say i did something wrong. Because i know how to get away from demons so i got away. I stay away from Black Magic and Witchcraft. I deal with Magic these days. You are a witch, there are sorceresses too.
by King Arthur Pendragon on April 13th, 2010
Demons, Black Magic, Witchcraft, God, sounds like we've got another witchhunter on our hands.
by Moongrim on April 14th, 2010
Moongrim, i don't think i said anything about GOD there.
by King Arthur Pendragon on April 14th, 2010
So God and Satan are not coterminus?
by Moongrim on April 14th, 2010
well Larendeil ,, you obviously have alot to learn on the subject . you are taking concepts of christianity (demons , god , satan ... etc .. and common mis-information and mixing it up with what you are obviously just learning about "magick" .
to be honest ,, after my invite to this thread ,, i thought i'd give you a hand , because you looked like a one legged cat trying to bury a turd on a frozed pond here .. but it's obvious that you are working with too much corrupt and mixed information . and explaining it to you would be more work than you trying to prove anything yourself . so .. i wish you luck .. but hope no one takes you seriously ..

Anonymous Witch
Why are you acting like i don't know anything, i know all sorts of Magic and mythology and yet i chose what i believed. You believed in Goddesses yet i don't mind even though i don't think a goddess or a horned god is real. I do not take concepts of Christianity, i am not a Christian. I was talking about evilness of Black Magic, i dealed with a demon. Just because my belief is different that makes me uneducated about Magic? No. I'm not like a cat, i'm dealing with them fine and easy. You are not just respecting my belief :( I tried to learn Witchcraft and i had to deal with a demon...But instead i learned Magic. I am not proving, because they are bugging into our beliefs and forcing the community about their beliefs and bugging about they get forced, i know some people do force them and tease them. But that's not my fault. You are a wiccan or pagan and i see it as misunderstood concept of Magic. But i respect your beliefs, and i want you to do so too.
by King Arthur Pendragon on April 14th, 2010
i am a witch ,, not a wiccan or a pagan . as per definition a witch does magic ,, a pagan honors nature deities or god /goddesses. and a wiccan does both . witchcraft is a practice that predates christianity .. wicca is a new religion started in the 50's . paganism / neopaganism is a religion. witchcraftis not . so not all witches honor a god or goddess . and all wiccans are witches .. but not all witches are wiccan .
you say you do magic but don't honor a god or goddess .. neither do i . you are a witch and don't even know it .. unless you want to use the word "sorceresses" what ever makes you feel better . but saying witchcraft is bad , you are knocking your own practice , and mine . . it's your definitions that seem mis-placed .. and i can tell you have a bunch of info from here and there to try to make reason of what you are saying .. it is contrary to itself .. thats all i'm saying .

I know that all Wiccans are witches, but witches aren't wiccans. I never knew you were a wiccan or pagan. I do follow a God. I do follow Olympian Gods too, but differently. I don't see them as Gods but as spirits. I am not a witch. I may be in your sense, but Witch usually refers to a female spellcaster. Or i can be called a Wizard. I never said Witchcraft is bad, i meant it can be bad. I see words the different way, you see it the different. So actually neither of us are wrong. I've been training Magic for years and years. Saying that i don't know can be a terrible insult. Seems like a little misunderstanding. I prefer Sorcerer than Witch and Sorceress for a female. Sounds more magical. But i call myself a Sorcerer and you call yourself a witch :)
I also hate the word magician. Magician reminds me of magic tricks.
by King Arthur Pendragon on April 15th, 2010
im not a wiccan or pagan . like i said i'm a witch. and by the way ,,, a male witch is called a witch too, plain and simple if you were thinking "warlock" you would be wrong, warlock just sounded better in the movies, it actually means "oath breaker " and is deemed an insult in the craft . call it wizzard if you want .. but they dont call it "wizardcraft do they ? if you practice witchcraft male or female , dog , or cat .. you are a witch . and i did not insult you . i pointed out things and common mistakes that a beginner makes like ive just explained .
anyone studying for "years" should have known that . you seem to mix harry potter with christ , god , voodoo . satanism , ,, demons .. exploding cartoon wands , greek gods etc .. all in one pot . which makes no sence at all .. sorry . im not here to tell you how or what to do .. i just ask that you be carefull how you use the word witchcraft .or relate it to evil at all .. like a common christian would . . that was an insult to me and the craft , and the mis-information i fight against . then i will step in . other than that say what you want . sorry if you thought it was an insult .. it was defense , not offense .

by The Anonymous Witch on April 16th, 2010
Anonymous Witch. I am not a beginner i have done this for years and even no power can explain. See you do witchcraft i don't. I am not a wizard. Since you call yourself a witch seems like you're too interested in Harry Potter. I did not make common mistakes. A Warlock is another word for a Dark Sorcerer and i believe that. So i want you to respect my beliefs because i respect your beliefs and i haven't say anything but when somebody touches my beliefs for education everything can do wrong, you get sad and i do too, you get angry i do too. So its better that you don't talk of my magic and i don't talk of your Magic but instead trying to tell some heads here. I believe in crystal wands that are used in ceremonies and other stuff, not like in Harry Potter. I said "Witchcraft can be evil" because i'm getting haunted because i was doing stuff based on witchcraft. I'm afraid i was about to get possessed last night but instead of sacred magic i did what Tinjon told me to do. To do Holy Prayers and i did not remember a thing happened then. Oh no, it was not a demon but i was fighting a vampire in my nightmare. How bizarre.

Believe in the God that your parents, grandparents once told you to believe in. I'm sure your family relatives are wise to know who the true God is. Don't let those clowns deceive you, they are deceived already. You do a good job for standing up to your beliefs. As religions are social institutions created by humans, they can be "killed." Most of the religions that have existed on this planet are now "dead."
by Baccduckus is a Carbonproduct on April 13th, 2010
One or all of them?
VAST majority of religions to have ever existed have come and gone. Those currently present will die eventually. Killing religion in general might be a bit trickier, though. People want something to believe in, makes their lives easier. So count on religion of one sort or another to be around for a long time.

@stonedsober, thou worker of iniquity!
Psalm 11:5 "The Lord tests both the righteous and the wicked. He hates those who love violence.
Matthew 15:11 It is not what goes into the mouth that makes a person unclean. It is what comes out of the mouth that makes a person unclean."
by Carl_07 on March 7th, 2010
big fucking deal. Do you think I am unaware of the wars I wage?
shit fuck crap god damn. I can feel the fire heating up.
Take the bible literal like that and reside in fear fear fear.
Everything everybody is doing is wrong wrong wrong. There is a scripture to back up anything you want to convey. Life is not a theory.
by stonedsober on March 7th, 2010
@stonedsober, just as Psalm 11:5 says that God tests us, we are also to rebuke all spirits from the father of all lies from falling into his hands while he takes us into destruction if we can't resist the evil deeds and words since we are what we confess. Matthew 15:11 has spoken!
Proverbs 13:16 Every prudent man acts with knowledge, but a fool displays folly.
Not everybody is doing wrong, one person cannot speak for every human being saying that everybody is doing wrong because if he / she did, then that person would be considered ignorant for judging many nice people from around the world. Ignorant people are always expressing their own minds thinking that one bad apple spoils the good ones and it's not really that way.
We can't judge a book by it's cover, there are many nice people outhere. Foolish men proclaim to all the folly and emptiness of their minds. Those who will not take pains in an honest calling, living by tricks and dishonesty, are paltry and beggarly. Care, fear and sorrow upon the spirits, deprive men of vigour in what is to be done, or courage in what is to be borne. A good word from God and praying applied by faith, makes the heart glad. In this life, we are either good or bad, we can't be stuck in the middle of things because we either go forwards or backwards - just the same way a car is controlled by the person driving it, so is what we confess and just like you posted in your comments; "so you seem to have the power to assume my thoughts? wrong."
After all, it's the thought that really counts, but that's just to bad that God makes us look like grasshoppers lol, I still have love for you stonedsober, just as Jesus has loved us. :-)
by Carl_07 on March 7th, 2010
likewise with the love.
still no one is perfect and a master of their kingdom until we are equally stripped of all folly. There are trillions created from this earth and until whole consummation you are just as sick as the sickest so yes I judge you as imperfect and I can prove it. So do not aim your bible at me to where I have to put my shield up because that is not what that book was intended for. Please surrender your weapons. This grasshopper is not fond of friendly fire. So If you kindly will point your sword in another direction may you be saved from drawing blood from my cheek. I do not know where that came from but it works. It holds weight and validity.
But ultimately here....I love you man. Hope your day is swell.
Common ground IS found in the middle. The good and bad thing I will argue as folly. Therefore there resides a disagreement of perception of word. Who is to say who is right? good? wrong? bad? Isn't that God Himself? I will let Him be the Judge, Jury and executioner. I stand in neutrality here and do not call you a fool for your folly. Unless you have reached perfection whatever convictions you are under are presumptuous without full clarity which is only found after full healing. Disillusionment until then if we stand in conviction. I prefer to remain open to all ideas until all is revealed. It appears to me by your own philosophy you are destined to a "bad" place. The key word is appear. chalkboard status. knowledge of good and bad. And we think we know best what to do with that? hmmm. haven't seen one win that battle yet as the wages for sin is death. Will mankind beat the grave? Why not? With God's help and promise I believe so. key word "believe." Even the so called "bad" people. Ha that would be "in your face" if you had to sit with your worst enemy in a place of neutrality eh? We are all on this Highway and I do not mean to sound self righteiouys in any way but I believe we need to remove blame for forward motion. forgiveness allowing god to bring about Just rewards. + or -.
by stonedsober on March 7th, 2010
@stonedsober, I never said that we are perfect, but the importance is that we do our best to be into the image of Jesus. God does not want us into His Kingdom if we are proclaiming folly while we try to judge others just because one wants to think that everybody is bad while we do not even know the wonderful people that are there until we understand ho strong they are in their faith. I myself am not perfect, I do mistakes, but I always think twice before my actions. I read the Bible back years ago, but I did not adapt the words of truth into my heart, as I am reading the Bible now more often as every verse I get to, sticks to my heart and soul.
I understand the meaning of loving one another, I have love for everyone, including you, even tho you attack me with profanity words which I despise, I still forgive, just as Christ forgave us. But you have to be more concerned in controlling yourself, that's why I posted Psalm 11:5 which means, that we are put through the test when God tests us. Read the story of David. David's struggle with, and triumph over a strong temptation to distrust God, and betake himself to indirect means for his own safety in a time of danger. Those that truly fear God and serve Him are welcome to put their trust in Him.
The psalmist David before He gives an account of His temptation to distrust God - records his resolution to trust in Him, as that by which he was resolved to live and die, and since we are what we confess, we try not to confess it to the ungodly because they won't turn the other cheek, but instead, they'll repay us with eye to eye, tooth for tooth which is something that Godly people would not want to be a part of, maybe if we were living in the Old Testament, yes, but now, no! You once told me that you were a follower of Christ, but I found it hard to believe since Matthew 15:11 does make a lot of sense.
by Carl_07 on March 7th, 2010
Again, we are what we confess! One cannot serve two masters, we either follow Christ, or we follow the father of all lies. I'm not trying to insult you by the grasshopper part that I posted - that's why I made it clear when I said; "but that's just to bad that God makes us as in "us," look like grasshoppers because that's really what we're compared to Him. You claim who is to say who is right, Job was a great example of being a righteous man in works, (read his story).
Job was attacked by so many trials by the Devil, but Job never blasphemed. God had tested him, as Job was faithful with God, but the part about is, we ourselves try to be like his example, although many people we don't know from around the world are strong in their faith. Not because we don't know them or met them in person means that they are wrong. Just like I said, "we can't judge a book by it's cover." I also understand that who are we to judge and yes, God is the judge and and executioner who will sometime judge us soon in JD.
I brought up Proverbs 13:16, the reason is, again; "we can't judge anyone else without knowing what that person is about." You wouldn't feel to good if someone judged one of your love ones who for example was very strong in their faith. If I was to be the one posting your comments, you would of posted the same thing that I am posting, but I use the Proverbs 13:16 fool part, for the same reason, the society's that are highly educated would consider us as ignorant and fools if we were to speak with the "F" word. But in my way, I don't mean it like that, as I didn't write a book, so you can blame the Bible for that for the same way another Proverbs say...
Proverbs 26:4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
by Carl_07 on March 7th, 2010
Also, I never answered to your folly, I despise profanity. I have used a lot of those words back in my younger days, but thanks to the Lord, He has worked through me as profanity words do not come out of mouth anymore. We all know what's good and bad because if we didn't, we would be committing suicide by jumping off a bridge, standing in the middle of the road, standing in the middle of the railroad tracks, etc since we know what's best for us. Since you bring up a verse that says in Romans 6:23, "for the wages of sin is death." Very true, but what's important is what's inside of us. Many Christians understand a way to escape trials. They point to biblical promises that God will intervene for those who have faith in His Son.
God not only promises to help us in our trials, He also promises us trials! Christ did not come to bring us a trouble-free life. Instead, He warned us that we would have strife within even our families and in this world as explained in John...
John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
Now, if we were to look for trouble thinking to ourselves that God's Angels will protect us, then we would be testing God and the Lord says; "Do not tempt me." In this world, we enter the kingdom through many trials, and every Christian will have to go through them, but God's promise will stand when He gives us everlasting life by trusting in Him so therefore, read the Bible more often so that God can work through you day by day.
by Carl_07 on March 7th, 2010
two masters. idealism. cannot be accomplished fully at this time.
the only 100% thing I can do is admit that I am nothing without God. after that it is still imperfection where small worships to Satan are inevitable. Just like you. You cannot walk on water. We have not conquered Satan just yet. I think we are real close though. So I admire your dilligence. I admire your good qualities. They are valuable experience for others like myself to be affected by. So thanks for the care to converse. I got a bible next to my john. I got other ones of all varieties and other books and such and the words are definately alive. They become more clear over time and experience of real life to that new meanings reveal to old truths. Thanks for the reminder to crack the book open and receive. It doesn't get through by osmosis.
by stonedsober on March 7th, 2010
That's great that you opened up your book. Grab a beer, grab a cigarette, read a verse or two and paste them in your heart. That's how I started reading the Bible back in my younger days, lol. The good thing was that I wanted to accept Christ, and when I least expected, God had helped me kick that habbit to the curve. That was then this is now! I always felt the same way too, even tho I would get drunk sometimes - I confessed the same words as you, that we are nothing without God, Amen to that!
I also get tempted into doing the ungodly, but I always control myself just by reading the Bible, and praying after reading. It helps me alot, and that is how I know that God is there. Without the Bible, I would be clueless and I would not kbow how to recieve the Salvation of Christ. I use to think back then when I didn't know anything about the Gospel, that I would be saved just by having an image or a statue of Jesus.
I was truly blinded back then, the bad part about it was, my life was full of hate with so much profanity in me and around me. If the image or the statue could talk, (which they cant) it would say to me that I am truly a hypocrite by the words that come out my mouth that made me unclean, so just think if we were to say, Jesus is inside of a statue, let's go do something that won't please Him, and let's go to the other room so we can talk with as much profanity as we want so that we can be cool that way since Jesus can't see us or hear us because we are far from His sight. There are some beliefs that believe in this, but how ignorant could we be if we were to believe in this, lol
by Carl_07 on March 7th, 2010
(Read closely) But instead, we have came to know the Spirit and truth in the word of God. We know that He watches, listens to everything we do and say. God creating everything means He is everywhere, including in our hearts. Everlasting life is obtained by a simple heartfelt confession; "nothing more and nothing less." It is not about our good deeds or bad deeds, which is why the Gospel is rightly called the good news. Where there is hope for everything, including God changing our lives to have us into the image of Jesus. The same is true for God's purpose in our lives. He is the Potter and we are simply the "clay." He is not dependent on us, we are dependent on Him. We must trust Him to make us the way He has planned. His ultimate goal, no matter what path is taken, is to make us like His Son.
We cannot make ourselves this way, no matter how earnest we are. That is the job of the Holy Spirit alone, for He works in accordance with the will of God. We do not have the ability, the vision, or the power to do this ourselves. What a heavy burden it would be to try and make ourselves more like Christ in our own efforts. If clay tried to mold itself, it would be a wreck, and probably unrecognizable, that's why we trust in our faith's, and that's why we trust in the Bible so that we can communicate with our Lord, and not with the one who is out to decieve us. Our heart comes first, that's what really counts the most, especially when we have Christ in our hearts is what makes us love thy neighbor, and our Lord with all our heart, strength and mind, Luke 10:27.
Sometimes when I read the Bible, I start to fall asleep at times and I wonder to myself, what's making me fall asleep? Perhaps it's something that doesn't want me to read at least a whole page in the Bible, but even if I have to fight the drowsiness. I'm reading a whole page either way for the flesh is weak, but our Spirit is strong if we trust in God.
John 10:14-15 Jesus said; "I Am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father, and I lay down My life for the sheep.
Glad you appreciate the reminder, your welcome anytime. :-)

Better yet, why don't we kill the flock?
Go ahead. Pay the dues.
I like the flock and consider you to be part of it. Regardless of your belief.

Why do you want to kill God or religion?Do both of the cause you trouble? If I were you I've never talk that way.
looks like the question caused a little shaking in you. My point exactly. Perceptions of written word. You assumed my position? I do not want to kill God. He cannot be killed. Religion, however, is it killable?
by stonedsober on February 11th, 2010
No. Religion is neither killable. Even if you kill the person you have to kill the world because 80 percent is theists.

Why would you want to?
Having a religion (or not having a religion) is our own choice. Religion is great for moral guidance and feeling as if there is some purpose to being alive. Personally, I don't care to have a religion, but to each their own. I wish we would all just get over ourselves and let people hold whatever religion they want as long as it's not harming others this world. Does it really matter so much to people to constantly put others down when they don't share the same beliefs? It's ridiculous.
True.

I think we can, seeing its already started. I mean a few weeks ago i was in a church for my passed away grandfather, and the dude in robes stands out of his huge chair and on it is a satanic cross :S
Could this get any weirder??
besides more and more people are getting smarter and want to see facts regarding a religion before they actually believe in it.
people want to live in the future nowadays so they start questioning the things of the past such as religion and gods, so i think that maybe somewhere soon alot more people will react that way and so on until theres no one left who actually believes in something wich isn't based on facts.
Moongrim and Underdog
Go learn some Real Magic and you will be strongly wrong. You know nothing.
Moongrim, Science is Scientia in Latin, it means "knowledge" not Ignorance.
by King Arthur Pendragon on March 24th, 2010
That won't happen. People get smart but they don't be robotic technological morons do they? I will always believe in god no matter what; Don't worry there are clever people in this Earth that know God exists.

Is atheism a religion? If so, hasn't congress been by default endorsing and establishing a religion?

Ah ah ah.
by stonedsober on March 18th, 2010
Lol no. Religion is not dead. Mistakes don't end Religions.
Thanks for picking the answer lol.
by King Arthur Pendragon on April 6th, 2010
Punk's not dead Oh no!
Neither is religion.
If I find a perfect Church, I will not go.
It will be imperfect as soon as I show up.
by stonedsober on April 6th, 2010
Lol. I am no punk. Religion will never be dead. Imperfect? Good for the Church. I am not a christian. I believe in God faithfully. Killing religion won't change anything in me, there are too much Idealists to deal with now, its too late.
by King Arthur Pendragon on April 6th, 2010
Religion isn't dead but needs to be and quickly. That includes Christianity and all others. Only then can we seek the truth.
by King Daniel on April 13th, 2010
I am the Punk. And Punk is not dead. Oh no.
As long as I do not make a religion out of anything I can be open to more being revealed. So I killed religion in my mind. Now I religiously go about my day in the NOW! Idealism does not work for me in the NOW. Striving toward ideals is grand. But I must accept things as they are and strive toward the ideals that lead to Love. I'm hopeful that we all get truthful with ourselves. We make the whole. I've got a million miles to go just like you so I think we can all travel together. I may be sick in the head. I'm cool with that. As long as I wish no harm on others. That usually leads me to suffer. Not a wise choice. I'm learning to be loving toward all. "Learning" is the key word. Peace out Gentlemen.
by stonedsober on April 16th, 2010
lol. You guys have to solve out that Idealism is actually the Realism.
