... energy is energy, it only works when it is made to work ... so the question of 'does it work' should instead be, 'how does it work' or 'how do we make it work' ... which of course is what the instructor will teach you.

I made a bet with my girlfriend that I would beat her in a friendly "fight". She says she'll win. She has a black belt in hapkido and I have no martial arts training, but I'm a strong, fit 170 lbs guy and she "just" a 125 lbs girl. U think she'll beat me?
