I believe so. I have seen incidents where I'm positive that persons have been saved as a result of "tough love." These are people who were on paths of self-destruction with drugs and or alcohol (alcohol is a drug too). I've seen entire families go through the painful but life-saving process of standing up to the one they love in their family who is on a death spiral and consequently the majority of the addicted persons pulled out of it and are now leading much healthier, happier, and more productive lives.
Yes..love comes in many forms and I think at some point in life all of us are saved by love..
At first I thought so, but after 9 years of marriage I now have an entirely different perspective.
I wouldn't say I've been saved, but I've definitely dated a person or two who has positively influenced my life and behavior.
