only if you feel you are ready. Being ready means you are able to accept the fact he may start talking and hanging around other women. Then sure. I have been in this situation and i started speaking to my ex only after a short time, and my ex went out and hung out with other people and it made me miserable. So it just depends on time, and your ability to face these sort of situations.
