Last nigt I went to a party and a family member of mine kept talking to me and he just went on and on and on how do I get him to shut up?

    1.Tell them that you can talk to them anytime...
    2.you need to check out that hottie across the room.
    3. Act as if you see someone you HAVE to talk to...
    tell them, sorry, I see "John Buselie" over there, nice talking to you.. see ya later (that way they won't follow you.)

    This person my have been genuinely glad to see you and just wanted to catch up. He may just be lonely and needed someone to talk to. Maybe he doesn't realize he's boring you. Anyway it was just the one night, I don't think it's worth hurting his feelings just to avoid a few hours of boredom.
