Have you ever spent a night in jail?

Yes, at 15, me and 2 friends, real smart asses, went down our village street turning over flower pots,, thought it was real funshit, went home and 1 hr later cops came to our houses, took us to jail, seemed old man who owned the shoe store, and lived above , saw us, he knew us and called village cops, our Dads were pissed and let them bring us in. We were scared shit, and in those days, got the shit beat out of us, were taken from the cell and into the Chiefs office, he took off his police belt and beat our bare asses 50 times, each. Man did it sting. Held over night, all 3 crying our eyes off, and let go in am. When I got home my old man busted my ass with the razor strap. Never went to jail again!

Yes, too many, Damn it!
Setting here thinking about it, I guess I have spent about 2 years, all total, in jail.
A day here, couple hours there. It adds up over time.
But, the longest time I ever did was a year, in OHIO, for shooting a niggar that was trying to rob the service station I worked in. He had a knife, I had a gun, and the fool didn't think I'd shoot him, he still tried to cut me with the knife.
I made 2 mistakes;
I didn't shoot to kill,
I let him go, after I shot him.
Him, and his 5 buddys, all said that he just wanted change, for a dollar, to get a drink out of the pop machine.
And my first wife was a 'Buckeye'

Nope..not yet. I guess if I haven't done so by now the odds of doing so before I die are pretty remote! :)
