The Spetznas use the russian martial art of Systema. Systema is about controlling the body of the opponent. It works on the levers in your body (elbows, knees, neck etc.). Spetznas however is the russian word to indicate that the unit is a special forces unit. There are quite a lot sf units in russia, but often the GRU Spetznas are referred to as the "Spetznas".
