    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

A county employee can file bankruptcy. Any person or business may file for bankruptcy, regardless of their affiliation or employment status. A county employee should only file bankruptcy if the sum of his debts far exceeds the amount he can reasonably pay in five years.
