You can probably already hear them now: Colts fans planning another Super Bowl celebration. But if you are a fan of the New Orleans Saints, there's a lot you can say before the Super Bowl to burst the Indianapolis bubble. An oldie--but a goody for sure--you might want to remind Colts fans where they came from. Although the Saints were a expansion team, the Colts had to sneak out of Baltimore in the dead of night to relocate. Peyton Manning is a four-time NFL MVP, but without his dad, Archie, he never would have learned to be a great quarterback. Archie Manning was a New Orleans Saints legend. Peyton Manning is a good quarterback, but he is too worried about being in the spotlight. No other quarterback in the NFL is in as many commercials--plus he has hosted "Saturday Night Live." Dwight Freeney is the Colts' leader in sacks this season, but he might not play in the Super Bowl. Freeney was battling a third-degree ankle sprain in the days leading up to the game. One big controversy late in the season came when the Colts sat their starters against the Jets. Instead of trying for an unbeaten season, the Colts lost and the Jets got into the playoffs. A true championship team would have won.Indianapolis stole the team
Without Archie, there's no Peyton
Peyton Manning is overexposed
Dwight Freeney's status
The Colts have no heart

throw a bag of Lays chips and a sixer of PBR into the room and that will shut them up for about 10 minutes (that is a bag of chips and six pack per fan per 10 minute time frame.) you do the math.
You can't shut Colt fans up cause they are the GREATEST fans, and they are going to kick some New Orleans butt in the Super Bowl!!!

You're reading Super Bowl cheat sheet: What do I need to know to shut down Indianapolis Colts fans?
Comments
1) Indy did not "steal" the team. Jim Ursay bolted Baltimore. That is not Indy's fault. What was Indy supposed to do, tell him to pack up and take his team elsewhere?
2) Yes, and if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle. What's your point? Just because someone has a parent who is a great athlete, that somehow diminishes their accomplishments?
3) Colts fan: "Hey, your Saints suck!" Saints fan: "Oh yeah?! Well, Peyton Manning is overexposed!!....And he hosted SNL!!!!!" Zing! Oh boy, you really burned that Colts fan!!!!! Hooo wheee! YOU GOT HIM GOOD WITH THAT ONE!!!
4) If anything, a Colts fan could turn this argument around and say that that is the reason why the Saints won. Not because of what the Saints did, but because there was no pressure on Drew Brees from the Colts. (Similar to the lame arguments people make about how the Houston Rockets championships are somehow diminished because Jordan had "retired" and had he not been, the Bulls would have won.)
5) You may say that the Colts have no heart for pulling their starters, but if Manning had gone down with an injury in a meaningless game while chasing that meaningless undefeated season, there would be some very upset Colts fans. The Colts being perfect going into the Superbowl and going for the undefeated season would only add one more reason to motivate the Saints to rev up their game to be the giant killers. Now it's a moot point.

How’s that laughable counter point working out for you now?

I wasn't dumping on the Saints. I'm dumping on the stupid points made by this question. I didn't even watch the Superbowl. I have nothing against the Saints winning. I'm not a fan of either team.
