Venacura is an over-the-counter supplement used to minimize discomfort and improve the appearance of varicose and spider veins, particularly in the legs and face. It has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Varicose veins are a result of vein walls becoming weak and the subsequent limitation of blood flow. Venacura's key ingredient is Diosmin 95, a plant flavonoid, which is reported to strengthen the vein walls. There have been no reported adverse side effects to Venacura and Diosmin 95, and neither have been found to be dangerous to pregnant women or unborn fetuses, according to the FDA. Venacura only comes in pill form which may be problematic for individuals who have difficulty swallowing supplements or medications. Taking more Venacura than instructed will not improve results. Overdose of anything can have adverse affects. As with any supplement or medication, follow the dosing instructions. Despite the FDA's approval and the lack of side effects of Venacura and Diosmin 95, consult with a medical professional before beginning the oral treatment.Features
