Well, I'm no lawyer, but I assume they will simply tow the vehicle away. If it was being repossessed to pay for debt, then I guess they will either try to sell the car as is or sell the individual parts, and you will still owe the remaining amount.
If the car is one you don't own, and the car is being repossessed for lack of payment, I should think you would be held responsible for the costs associated with repairing the car, though again I am not a lawyer.
They will have it towed away. They can sell it for what they can get for it but you are still responsible for whatever you owed at the time of repossession. They can, and most likely will, turn you over to a collection agency for all that money and will show against your credit should you try to buy another car or borrow money.
Worst case would be that you get sent to debtors prison for the remaining money oved.
