I agree for the most part. For example, take the American population. Still believing in Boogey Men and playing with invisible friends while knowing what brand and color underwear Paris Hilton wears.

Absolutely. Everyone is concerned on who is sleeping with who and what scandal is going on, but people don't pay attention to what's happening to their country. Instead of watching Entertainment Tonite, take a half hour and watch the news.
yes...to know what 'should not know' and what is not 'their business'....its called dramatist's and gossip mongers....they don't tend to care about reality just unrealistic ....
