Do you think Pope John Paul should be given Sainthood, when he wouldn’t do it for Mother Teresa?

    nope. I am not sure that either should be saints..even though they were very holy people who worked to do Gods will on earth and heal and help those in need...however that alone doesn't make someone a saint...and I am unaware of any miracles being attributed and substantiated to either Mother Teresa or Pope JPII...

    They should still be reverred for the lives they lived and lessons they taught to others through their lives.

    Thank you for your question.

    I think that both should go through the normal process and I would expect them both to be declared as saints. Having said that, the process can take a while.

    Personally, if it were me, I would place the emphasis on good works rather than miracles as miracles smacks of the Middle Ages. In my view, the emphasis should be on the good that a person did while they were alive. However, that is a decision for the Catholic church not me.
