Do habitability laws only apply to people with plans to sell their house, or will the government make a person homeless to prevent them

living under adverse conditions they're aware of and don't care about?

    Generally habitability laws refer to rental property. Of course, privately owned and occupied space can be condemned. There is due process with plenty of notice.

    This is my personal opinion.
