The Footjoy brand of golf shoes is doing something most other golf shoe brands are not: completely redesigning their product. The newest line of Footjoy golf shoes comes with a unique wire lacing system and a heel grip that can be adjusted for the right tension. This way, your shoes will never feel ill-fitting or give you blisters. They don't require breaking in because any person wearing them can easily adjust the shoes for the perfect fit. These revolutionary adjustments tend to make the Footjoy shoes look a little space age. That is, the new lacing and heel torquing system looks it needs to "be plugged into the matrix" in order to operate, according to one reviewer of the shoes on Sandtrap.com. And the price tag on these shoes is hovering around $200, depending on where you shop (as of 2010). If you're looking for a classic shoe with a classic look and a modest price, the Footjoy line of shoes is not for you. However, if you'd like to bypass the process of breaking in your shoes and don't mind your footwear looking a little souped-up at a souped-up price, then you can't go much better than Footjoy golf shoes. On One Hand: A Perfect Fit
On the Other: Too Much Overkill
