To AB members who ask questions, do you ever wonder why some AB members' responses are consistently negative? Why bother answering?

Sounds like my wife.

ME: "I finished cleaning the kitchen and the bathroom will be done in a minute."

HER: "Why is this piece of paper on the floor over by the girl's room?"

- That's terrible TC. My mom was precisely like that. She and your wife would have gotten along quite well. It is very disheartening to bust your buns doing your best and having people like that look for and find the small, tiny flaw and focus on it. Courage my friend. - I think she is enormously lucky to have such a kind person as you in her life. If you can look on that type of response and make an excuse for it you are one rare person! Happy Monday! :)

I've never wondered about it. I've just always understood there are those people who view the world negatively.

Drives me nuts. I guess we should feel sorry for those people Rosie because I think they must have miserable lives. I once had a mother-in-law who wasn't happy unless she was unhappy. They always see the glass half empty and not half fully. Toxic to be around in my opinion.

Yes I have wondered that with some people but to be honest I'd rather not bother with them..if they choose to be negative all the time thats their mishap..but they don't need to bring everyone down with them..
I'm sure some people think the world would end if they ever smiled..lol

Has anyone on AB ever rated you negatively for no apparent reason? The negative ratings are being applied to questions with appropriate responses (nothing that cld cause negativity) & have been rated & commented on positively by other AB members?

Do those of you who ask questions have some members who are always hostile to you when they answer them? Does it bother you or do you just take it in stride and ignore the negativity? Does it make you wonder why they even bother with you?
