Help answer this question below.
I'm an independent contractor that works for a company(X) that puts us to work with another company (Y). Company Y pays our expenses (hotel, car rental, food per diem with receipts) but company X lumps actual wages and expenses on my 1099. Since company Y paid for the food do I still have to write off 50% of value or can I write it all off? P.S. I travel non-stop to different states.
