Help answer this question below.
It's not everyone, but I think it has a lot to do with their parents having poor parenting skills, and and passing on those poor skills to their young by example.
These days?
The human race is pissing people off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why the hell do you want to know??????????????????
Fortunately they are not all rude. The ones who are were not raised/reared properly. It is up to the parents to teach the child that being polite and respectful is as necessary and learning how to read and write. The reason usually is because the parents are disrespectful and impolite and the children never had proper role models. Happy Thursday to you akanegirl! :)
Usually we are taught to be polite and kind, which means we are not automatically born that way. Naturally we are selfish, self centred and crude. It's the natural beast in us. We have learned to behaved more socially acceptable. Learned not in our nature. So the answer is clear..learned habits do not mean we are what we think we should be. Kind considerate etc are learned habits some learned from the cause and effect of their actions others see and learn. We are basically not very nice in nature. Cannibalsim is one way of seeing the beastly side of our human nature. We try to be nice but what we sometimes can't know for sure if it's genuine.
Because there is no real consequences to rude behavior, did you know that in Singapore they cain people for spitting, this country needs bite behind its bark.
Why do so many people delude themselves into thinking that the past was some kind of Golden Age of morality & order?
You might say "In the 1950s, people were much nicer to each other"
To which I could reply "In the 1950s, most people were still openly-racist. That's not so nice, is it?"
I don't know exactly, I would have to venture and say unbringing my mother and grandmother have a short attention span and often cut people off in in the middle of a conversation.
Because from the time they were young, their parents taught them very few manners, and they allowed themselves to be influenced by the rudeness of their piers and watching and listing to what pop-culture says. Thus, we have a whole generation of totally rude fucks.
I like what Homer Simpson said, "I believe the children are our future..unless we stop them now!"
In countries such as Japan, the culture tells everyone to have manners, and the language grammatically expressed formality and politeness. Also, in Japan conformity to the culture is highly respected.
But in the U.S, the culture is at the point where it literally changes every 10 years, so it's out with the old and in the new here. Sometimes new doesn't necessarily mean better.
Because they were never taught manners.
