The length of a rectangle is 10cm.What width will make the area greater then 120cm(squared)?

    There is no solution.
    The greater "rectangle" of length 10 cm is the square of side 10 cm.
    Its area is 100 cm^2.
    All other rectangles of length 10 cm have a smaller area.

    On the other hand, for a width of 10 cm, all rectangles of length > 12 cm have an area > 120 cm^2

    Write the equation in the correct form with "W" as the variable for the width

    10*W=>120

    /10=/10 Divide both sides by 10

    W=>12 Width must be greater than 12cm
