Why do betty and veronica have the exact same face?

    Betty and Veronica have the same face because each is the antithesis, the direct opposite, of the other.

    Betty represents good and wholesome. Veronica is supposed to be more worldly.

    Has anyone read the comic strip where betty and veronica switch hair colors..?
    i think the faces are still similar, but betty wears a black ponytail and veronica has her newly blonde hair down as normal for their hairstyles..

    Same artist + low expectations = similar faces.

    Archie comics is an old comic style from back when comics were boys items. So girls weren't required to be so diverse. Nowdays a lot of detail is taken for all characters, but Archie maintains it's original drawing style.
