Help answer this question below.
A rosary is a string of beads, at the end of which is a crucifix. It has been used for centuries by Catholics, and more recently even Protestants, to track their prayers in a prayer session. Many people use them, and because the actual rosary beads are not in and of themselves sacred, there is no reason why anyone who wishes to place them in the casket of any deceased person should be deterred. Catholics have long restricted what Protestants can and cannot do in the Catholic Church. The rosary is a mostly Catholic tradition in which Mary is the center of the prayers. Catholics are very serious about the traditions and rituals of the church. Protestants have long criticized the Catholic Church for its devotion to Saint Mary and the rituals that surround that devotion. Most Protestant Churches would consider the rosary worship of an idol and elevation of Mary as non-biblical. Placing a rosary in the casket of a Protestant would fly in the face of both Catholic and Protestant doctrine. The Catholic Church does not seem to comment specifically on rosary beads being buried with a Protestant. But what they do restrict Protestants from participating in suggests that non-Catholics should not make use of things Catholic. For instance, non-Catholics are not allowed to receive Communion in the Catholic Church. On One Hand: A Matter of Preference
On the Other: Out of Respect for Both Traditions, No.
Bottom Line
Furthermore, the fact that the rosary prayers are focused on Saint Mary, and not Christ, suggests Protestants would view placing the rosary beads in the casket as bad form. Therefore, it is not in keeping with either faith that rosary beads be put in the caskets of Protestants.Source:
Yes, all caskets should be required by law to contain rosary beads. It'll purify those sinners.
By the way, what are rosary beads?
If you mean "should I take advantage of the fact he cannot protest any more to stuff a religious symbol into the casket for my own religious reasons ?".
Then the answer is an unequivocal NO!
I would expect most people whether irreligious or of whatever religion will agree with me that you should respect the deceased, and not intrude on a funeral like that.
On the other hand, if your aunt Magda had this rosary she loved and always wore as a necklace, then it would make very good sense to let her keep it in the casket too.

If they have a particular personal devotion where the rosary is important to them...then yes. Why not?
Not if the deceased would not have wanted it. I doubt that would stop the more pushy Catholics tho. (I have an aunt by marriage who clandestinely traces a crucifix on my babies' foreheads with her thumb cause she think they will go to hell because we aren't Catholic, and like no one notices her secret voodoo moves...only my christian upbringing keeps me from punching her out.)
Then again, it's just a deady bod and some meaningless beads....so who's gonna care?
Why would anyone want to be buried with rosary beads?
depends on what the person wants ... good question to ask before dying...hard to ask afterwards... most Atheists don't want to be buried with rosary beads...
