Help answer this question below.
The use of Limewire and other peer-to-peer sites are popular because you can get free media on the Internet. However, the risks of using these sites overshadow the benefits. Using Limewire increases your chance of obtaining viruses such as spyware and Trojans. Also, using peer-to-peer websites to share copyrighted material such as movies is illegal and you may face legal repercussions. For certain users with a vast computer knowledge and a very strong antivirus software, safe downloads are possible. However this does not neglect the fact that any downloads you make are traceable and you may still face legal complications. Although you can download movies from Limewire safely, it is not encouraged. You may end up paying more for those movies by having to pay an expert to fix your computer. However, damaging your computer is a small price to pay compared with the fines and legal charges that you may face.On One Hand: Limewire is unsafe
On the Other: For expert users
