Replacing the Capacitor on the DM board seems to be recommended fix by all the online Q&A sites.
They recommend upgrading the Capacitors to:
1000 micro Farads @25V, 105 deg.Celcius
This is the only thing I would add to Jeremy's procedure below:

On my Mitsubishi TV, INPUT2 CANNOT be selected. the input 2 button on the remote has no response, and when "scrolling" through inputs from the TV buttons (not the remote), it actually skips from input 1 to input 3- it skips input 2.

Were is the reset button on the mitsubishi tv model cs-35601? will this reset the whole tv including being stuck on home theater mode?

Has anyone else had the light engine fail on their WD-73727 after fourteen months? Are you waiting until mid November for a replacement (starting waiting in June)?
