What's the rush? Have you found the love of your life yet? Are you ready to risk having a kid? It's not a contest to get there at the earliest possible age.
-
Who's to say what's 'appropriate'? Do what you feel is right at the time and live with it.
-
That's a difficult question. I think it depends on the individuals involved. If a fifteen year old clearly understands the consequences involved and takes measures to protect themselves against any of those consequences, then I'd have to say yes. If it's a spur of the moment decision that hasn't been rationally thought-out or prepared for, then no. For the most part, 15 year olds aren't mature enough to deal with sex and all that comes with it. There are, of course, exceptions to this rule, but they are few and far between.

Losing your virginity at 15 is WAY TOO fast... For guys & gals! Wait till your 18 when your mind & body mature...
-
I lost mine at 16, and I am 22 now. I regret it. I wish I had waited. Think about if you are doing this for yourself or the other person. If my child did that at 15, whether they were in love or not, and honestly , i think 15 is too young to be in love, but if my child did it at 15, i would be pissed, and wish they would have waited longer. so all in all, YES I think 15 is TOO young!

I would say 18 because thats the youngest you can get married government standers and thats the time you should. Save it for that special some one don't rush just to feel the excitement. Its just an age set by the gov to say your an adult and mature enough to act on your own but there is no standard for all people. We are different some even at 18 are still to immature.

I don't think anyone can pass judgement on this - everyone is different, everyone goes through puberty at different ages, and everyone's relationships are different. There is nothing worng with sex at the age of 15, it all depends on when you're ready
-
Yes, Princess, we can pass judgment. As civilised humans, adult or not, we are REQUIRED to pass judgment --- on this question and thousands of other issues daily. And, anonymous, it's not a difficult question at all. "Fifteen year olds aren't mature enough to deal with sex and all that comes with it." Crazy_love speaks from experience, and she's right. Give away youir virginity at age 15, then at age 23 you meet Mr. Right. He's all you ever dreamt of, he's so compatible that you share all the same thoughts without hesitation, and you're so in love with him that your teeth hurt and the blood sings in yor veins when you think about him. Now what do you have that you can offer him? Used goods. A girl who's been sleeping around for eight years, and who may have a communicable venereal disease. No, it's not appropriate at that age. No.
-
If you feel you are ready, then do it. It's neither appropriate or inappropriate.
-
Age has nothing to do with it,it depends on how matture you are and if YOU think your're ready.
-
for a girl its not right. for a 15 old boy its ok.
