I think my neighbor is tapping into our electricity. OUr bill is over $300 per month while his is under $50. We are using almost 4 times the average kilowatt hours per year with no discernable source of this usage! What do I do?

Turn off all your electrical appliances, and then see if your electricity meter is clocking up any kilowatts. If it is, and your home is not using any at that time, then there is something wrong and you should contact the electricity company who supply your power.

I would call the power company and have them check your meter. It may be malfunctioning.

Or maybe your neighbors meter is malfunctioning.

I would tell the power company of your suspicions also.
You are either right or you're not.

Look out side or around your home to make sure they don't have a extension cord plugged in or possibly buried underground running under your home plugged in. Ask the power company to come check to make sure you don't have to much electricity running into your home. I had to do that once, I was blowing light bulbs every day for 3 months. They fixed it.
