If Republicans support lower taxes and decreased expenses, why don't conservatives support cutting $2.5 billion in the 2010 budget?

  You do know that having a billion more planes to bomb isn't going to stop an underpants bomber if Republicans keep stalling on the people Obama appoints to oversee airports? And you do know that the bomber (failed terrorist as opposed to the successful ones under the Republican decider) didn't come from any of the countries the conservatives started wars with? Maybe you should buy new textbooks.

• Easy there lefty...I graduated college years ago so I would rather not invest in any more txtbooks. No, clicking that link isn't too much trouble, but you see I work 60 hours a week building my business. I am a capitalist and I have first hand experience on a free market private sector improving the quality of life for my co-workers/employees/friends. You seem awfully angry...I bet if you ever start paying taxes and grow up you will find a lot of pillars of liberalism are flawed. Ulterior motives abound, faith in the free individual is crushed . Oh BTW...osama was plotting the 9-11 attacks for 10 years under CLINTON. And we are not at war with "countries" we are at war with the NATION of Islam...Which declared war on us. Funny thing happens when you declare war on someone. Especially the strongest nation on earth...we fight back no matter where you are. Wouldn't you? Grow old and wise, get off the dope, reject government, enbrace freedom but first define it. Some/most leftist find happiness in slavery...do you?

• Moon, I thought Obama was still president? My bad! :) I personally don't care where we start cutting, but something has to be done. Personally, I would start with all the pork barrel projects that are just rampant. Something like 1800 of them on the first TARP. I was also against that bill. Just curious, what are some spending you would like to see cut?

• Moon, your original question didn't ask what I would cut! I might be in favor of cutting $2.5 billion for the C-17, but as I stated in my "phantom addendum" I would cut pork barrel spending before anything else. And thank you for your gracious phantom addendum to my follow up question that which you tacitly declined answer.
