Yes & this is not being mean or nothing but even I want tested again when I get older. Most elderly people don't realize or want to accept they can't see or react as quickly as they once did. They will pull off without signling, or pull out in front of traffic because they forget to look or can't see good. Or hog the road & refuse to pull off the road running you over a hill or into a ditch. That happens alot around here.

YES YES and YES, I live in Florida and ride a motorcycle, and it scares the shit out of me seeing all these old people driving the way they do, my friend, also on a bike, got in accident few weeks ago because some old lady pulled up in front of him because she didn't see him.

No. Most people I know who are 60 aren't a threat at all. I'm sure there ARE people in their 60's who could be considered hazardous, but for the majority that isn't true. 60 is NOT an OLD and DECREPIT age. Particularly in todays society.

I come across elderly drivers from time to time who creep along and I do find it frustrating sometimes. I see MORE teenage drivers that are hazardous. They zip in and out of traffic with inches to spare. Many of them speed down the street. I see them speed through neighborhoods. That's extremely dangerous for the children in the neighborhood. Frequently I see them push through yellow and red lights.

Try driving around the area of a high school at lunch time. You better have your eyes wide open. If you don't you're liable to be run over by one of them.

Overall, I am far more concerned with teen drivers than someone who is 60.

60, no. I know some 60 year olds that are in better shape than people in thier 30's. But...over 70, yes.

Yes! And make sure they drive over 45 on the interstate. Explain the idea of the fast lane too. I try to be patient because I know one day, I will be the 60+ year old, but I don't want to see a major accident because someone is putt-putting along a highway!

i think we should create a bus with fake steering wheels in every bench seat.that way we can give older folks the illusion they are driving without killing everybody

Yes. I know some 60 year olds who should not have been on the roads. Of course, there are other ones who are perfectly safe - but they will pass the tests.
