They are true hippocrates. Its kind of like when a huge woman, say size 14 & up braggs about thier big boobs. I just cringe inside because when your so overweight, big boobs quite simply... don't count.

It's a terrible thing to do. One thing that critical people need to learn, is that it could easily be them that are the fat ones. Another thing is that the person who is overwieght is almost always like that because of a lifetime of bad eating habits. So criticizing them for being the way they are is wrong becuase it would take years of work to undo the cause of their obesity. ( not to say that they should give up... even if it does take 3 years to lose ALL the weight... its still worth doing).

I guess but it all depends on your definition of Fat...
What is considered fat in Europe would actually be quite an average weight in America, So I could quite easily see a 'fat' French person being able to call an American 'Fat' without even a hint of irony or double standards.
