Ron Price, a Dallas school board member, has asked the City Council to look at strenghtening a law to go after people who wear baggy pants and expose their underwear. Do you think that councils and schools should be able to enforce a clothing code?

    No. The American public school system is the biggest joke I can't bring myself to laugh at. Instead of concentrating on things like education they whine and bitch over someone who comes to school without a belt.

    Not for something like that but they should be able to tell the kids how daggy and silly this fashion looks.

    Schools can enforce dress code. The right to do so has been upheld in court. City councils, though, should have better things to do. Dallas needs to work on some code enforcement for the codes they have rather than coming up with new ones.
