Help answer this question below.
Define "positive way".
In general, if one wants others to notice them for whatever reason, then one needs to express those traits somehow.
For example, if you, as a woman, want to attract the attention of respectful men then you behave respectfully. This can be expressed any number of ways, including such things as how you dress, how you talk, the things you do, the people you associate with, and more.
Many people in today's society make a big deal over being able to dress however they want, for example, and expect not to have to suffer any consequences for it. And in general, that's OK.
However, if a woman were to dress in sheer, tight fitting shirts, low hip hugger jeans, with her *ss-tattoo visible just above the dimples on her b*tt cheeks, then it should come as no surprise to her that she will attract more people who don't have "respect" for her and lack "positive" attention traits when they see her.
True, there is an old saying that "you shouldn't judge a book by its cover". But there is another saying at least as old which says "dress for success". If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck, then it must be a duck.
And before someone says "opposites attract", remember that like-minded people attract as well.
Take a look at groups of people in general:
Jerks attract and spend time with other jerks.
People with similar interests and hobbies spend time together.
Married people tend to spend more time with other married couples.
Kids naturally gorup together with other kids of the same age range.
So if you want to be noticed in a "positive way", then behave in the ways which will attract that kind of attention!

By saying hello, and perhaps making nice conversation. Also dress nice and smell good.
Walk to me, say hello then start talking. Be nice to me.
