Help answer this question below.
Ask and you shall receive.
just put in a friend request. they will either except or deny i guess.
Some people put this information in their profiles. I'm one of them.
Here's what I recommend: Play around on AB for a while...answer questions, post comments, maybe post a few questions.
This developes your profile a little bit. Many people, when they receive a friend request, take a look at the person's profile to see what they're like. Also, posting interactive comments with people makes you stand out as someone who LIKES to communicate somewhat...more than the odd comment here and there.
This is how I go about it. I do not accept people willy-nilly. In fact, I will leave those who've made a request on my pending list until I see something that either makes be deny their request or they fulfull my criteria.
For example, if someone were to make a request to me but I find that they have a habit of posting offensive material or like to spend a lot of time in the adult categories, then I'll likely deny them. I have no wish to clutter up my Friends Activity page with that kind of material.
Or suppose someone were to make a request to me but hadn't really interacted with me beyond a comment here and there which says "nice answer!". Likely, they'll stay on the request list until I get some more out of them...and I may visit some of their postings to see if I can draw them out of their box a little bit.
I do this because my Friends List is more than just a status symbol where I compete to see how many I can accumulate. It's because my Friends List is populated with people that post things I'M interested in...people who are interested in having a conversation once in a while.
Everybody's different...this is just how I think about the subject.
:):)
ask me ta be a friend i duno how ta get them
lol
sounds soo weird
Just read the posts and comments of others,,find those you like and ask them to be friends,,most people like being asked,I bet you'll make any.The longer you're on here, the more you'll be exposed to those you might like.
i duno lets be friends :P
try answering peoples questions, if they like your answers they often friend request you.
Just wait i don't think you'll have a problem because there are lots of people who will agree with you on some things and you will find people that you like so you can ask them. You don't have to go around and look for friends. You will find and be found. Don't worry!
I send a request when someone has caught my interest.
Do those who insult the Question/Questioner realize they are also insulting those who answer the question sincerely? Or are they clueless?

You're reading Please tell me how to make friends on answerbag? Do I ask someone if they would like me as a friend or do I wait until I am asked?
