Overall Verizon has several strengths, but Intenet connectivity is not one of them.

Trial Period

Verizon Wireless offers a 30-day trial period to new customers. If left unsatisfied after the trial period ends the customer can receive a full refund.

Calling Plans

All Verizon Wireless calling plans include free nights (9:01 p.m to 5:59 a.m.) and free weekends. Verizon calling plans also include unlimited domestic long-distance calling.

Customer Service

A 2009 poll in Consumer Reports, a magazine which reviews various products and services, ranked Verizon Wireless as the number-one cell phone provider in customer service. From 2003 to 2008 both Consumer Reports and JD Power & Associates (another company that reviews products and services) have given Verizon high ratings for customer service.

Internet Services

The Verizon Wireless website provides various Internet services, such as online bill pay and the ability to check minute use for the current billing cycle.

Internet Connectivity

Verizon Wireless users and reviewers report few weaknesses. But one, according to an article published on Tom's Guide (a member of the Best of Media group) comparing Verizon to its top competitor A T & T, is the user's inability to talk on the phone while browsing the Internet.
