The treble clef scale is written for instruments that share a common pitch. Some instruments that use the treble clef scale are the trumpet, the b-flat clarinet and the piano. The notes on the treble clef scale are easy to learn.
The Notes
There are a total of 12 notes between the low C, which rests on the line directly below the staff, and the upper C, which rests two lines above the staff. There are four notes below middle C and three notes above upper C.
On the Lines
There are five staff lines visible on the written page. Each line contains one note. These notes are E, G, B, D and F.
In the Spaces
There are four spaces found between the lines of the staff on the treble clef scale. Each holds one note: F, A, C, and E (or FACE).
Below the Staff
Below the staff there can be several notes as well. These notes continue with the line and space pattern. The notes that rest on lines are C, A, and F. The notes that sit on the spaces are D, B, G and E.
Above the Staff
Above the staff's top line are A, C, and E. These notes sit on the line. The notes found inside the spaces are G, B, D and F.
