On the Other: They Aren't a Substitute for Sunscreen
Sun-protective suits aren't meant to be a replacement for sunscreen, since they don't stop the sun's rays entirely, but only slow them down. A good, strong sunscreen will still be necessary if you're out in the sun for any considerable length of time.

If your skin is sensitive to sunscreen lotions and sprays, sun-protective suits may help you use a little less sunscreen and still have fun in the sun. Moreover, since it's very important to protect children's delicate skin from UV rays, consider sun-protective swimsuits for your children.
