In Wisconsin, the employing company cannot just stop paying one employee's health insurance (the employer may cancel every employee's insurance, however). Employers are not required to provide insurance; however, if the employer offers "a group health benefit plan...the insurer is required to offer coverage to all 'eligible employees' of the employer and their dependents," according to the State of Wisconsin's Office of the Commissioner of Insurance.
