Free Edition
The TaxACT Free Edition provides basic tax functions, financial aid forms and e-file for most household returns.
Deluxe Edition
The TaxACT Deluxe Edition provides basic filing, e-file, financial aid forms, documentation and tech support. The downloadable and online versions are $12.95 and $9.95, respectively.
State Editions
TaxACT State Editions are available for Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin. The downloadable and online versions are $14.95.
Ultimate Bundle
The Ultimate Bundle Edition contains all of the state and federal income tax functions. The downloadable and online versions of the Ultimate Bundle are $19.95 and $17.95, respectively.
Home and Business Edition
The TaxACT Home and Business Edition ($54.95) provides the most complete tax filing options. It costs $54.95.
Professional Tax Preparers
TaxACT also has software for professional tax preparers and accountants ranging between $119 for basic tax forms (1040, 1065) to $619 for the 2009 Preparer's Bundle.
