    Signs of drug abuse include a change in behavior and mood; a change in sleep patterns; sudden weight loss or gain or a change in eating and speaking patterns.

    Dangers

    Prescription drugs are safe only for the person to whom they are prescribed. The doctor has examined herand is aware of any other conditions and medications. Also, the drug is prescribed to be taken only under particular circumstances. If not taken as directed, results may be unpredictable.

    Treatment

    Treatment may be as simple as educating the individual. If addiction is an issue, treatment must be supervised by a specialist who can recommend the proper treatment measures.
