My 40in sony tv model # kv-36fs10. It has sound but no picture. What could be the problem and is it worth getting repaired or a new tv?

You're reading My Samsung TV has turned green. Occasionally, the reddish (more natural) tones come back to peoples faces, but then it pops back to green. Can this be (cheaply) fixed, or should I get myself a bugle and learn to play taps?
