    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

It's possible to get life insurance as a convicted felon, but it can be difficult to obtain. Whether you will get life insurance is based mainly on your conviction. For example, if your conviction was drugs or alcohol, insurance will be harder to get because your history shows an association with dangerous risks.

Yes it is possible to get a life insurance but it depends on the crime you may get rated as a higher risk class.

In the event, you were convicted again for the same crime and ended up dying from it, then the insurer would not pay out the policy.
