Stiffel lamps have been around for about 75 years and are known for their detailed craftsmanship and style, which makes them widely collectible. You can find the lamps in a variety of designs, from traditional to modern. The lamps in the "Precious Metals" series are considered heirlooms and are passed down from one generation to the next.
On the Other: Other Lamps are More Collectible
There is more interest in collecting Tiffany and Pairpoint lamps than Stiffel lamps. A lamp with a genuine Tiffany gilt-bronze base and glass art lampshade is more collectible (and more extravagant) than most Stiffel lamps.
Bottom Line
While Stiffel lamps are excellent collectibles and add a creative, classy touch, they are not among the most collectible lamps on the market. They are affordable and make wonderful family heirlooms because of their classic designs.
