Testim is a gel prescribed to boost testosterone levels. The manufacturers recommend that you apply the drug to your body in the morning. The drug is not to be applied to the genitals but instead should be rubbed onto your shoulders and upper arms, where it will be covered by a shirt and prevented from being rubbed on other people. Testim is supposed to cure low testosterone levels in men, which can lead to loss of sex drive, loss of muscle mass, increased body fat, bone thinning, tiredness and irritability.
On the Other: What happens if taken at night?
The reason that Testim is used in the morning is because it supposedly provides a boost of energy during the day. Applying Testim at night could cause sleeplessness, and if sleeping shirtless next to a partner (especially a female), there is a risk of Testim being rubbed on your partner.
Bottom Line
If you have a schedule where you work at night then, yes, Testim can be taken at night. Otherwise, there is no reason to use it at night and it should be used in the morning, as recommended.
