<h4 class="dechead">On One Hand: Consider its Uses
If you use your water hose for gardening and lawn watering, you may find it most convenient to keep its location handy to those activities. Spools and hangers exist for hose storage, and some can be mounted to your home near an existing water spout. Hoses also can be coiled around spouts, but a reel has better curb appeal.
On the Other: Analyze Storage Options
If you are a renter and cannot mount a hose spool to the house, a storage shed or garage could be a more appropriate storage option. Coiling the hose is the best method to maximize space and ease of use later. A coiled hose can be hung on a hanger or placed neatly on a shelf.
Bottom Line
No matter what you use your water hose for, you may find it most convenient to store it close to the water spout. Mounted spools should be installed at the discretion of the property owner.
