Is there a reason why, sometimes, when you're using Netscape 8.1.2 and you're typing and you press the backspace key, the tab closes? Can it be fixed?

  When I use Hotmail in Netscape, under the Tools menu, there is no Rich Text Editor listed. Usually it says Rich Text Editor ON or Rich Text Editor OFF. Why is this happening and how can I send HTML messages?
